Hightstown's downtown business district looked very different in 1994 than it does today. That was the year the Mannino family opened Mannino's 4 Pizza and Trattoria on South Main Street. At the time the center of town was starting its metamorphosis from a place with vacant buildings in need of repair to the bustling, revitalized centerpiece of life in this small, historic town.

Giovanni Mannino, who immigrated from Carini, Italy and has been in the Trenton area for 30 years, opened the business with sons Marco, Maurizio, and Francesco. They brought with them an establishment dedicated to providing great food and service. The Mannino's partnered with cousin Jerry Lopresti in the year 2000.

Crispy crust, juicy sauce, good amount of Veggies. That's their perfection in each slice of pizza. I'm here for the first time in NJ and found this restaurant nearby through Google. Glad to be here.
Tried their Veggie pizza and it's really good. Definitely coming back here whenever I'm in NJ.

1/2 Sausage pizza was flavorful from
dough to sauce to the sausage itself.
Well done just as asked. Eggplant palm
on garlic bread was tasty as well. As
New Yorkers I was not disappointed.

Great family owned pizzeria. Pizza is delicious and very reasonably priced. Super wide selection too. Check it out if youre in the area!

Solid pizza. Tasty crust with good chew. Flavorful sauces and cheese. The grandma slice is especially good. Only slight minus is the mushrooms look like they're from a can but otherwise great toppings too.

We ordered a cheese pizza, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and a steak sandwich on garlic bread. My boys didn't like the pizza. My sandwich didn't have much flavor. The mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders were okay.

This is literally the best pizza in New Jersey. I'm was originally from Brooklyn so I know a good slice or pie. I went to quite a few places all over Jersey and I can say Mannino's 4 is the best you can get. I love everything from their plain pies, white pies, grandma pies and even the mozzarella sticks are phenomenal. I've never ordered something and said it tasted or was prepared bad from Mannino's. The people there are also so friendly. They make you feel extremely welcomed and you know your food is in good hands when being prepared.

My friends and I went to Mannino’s 4 last night as they were beginning to close up. Most places would’ve been reluctant to help that late, but they looked excited to see us and helped us with a smile. We all ordered small pizza’s which they made very quickly. The manager talked to us the whole time and was very kind. The pizza was delicious and we were all very glad we ate here. Would definitely recommend.

While writing this review, I am eating this dish. It’s really really good. Much much better than many Italian restaurants in DC( where I live ). You really should try this out.

If I could give them 6 stars, I would.
The restaurant was so accommodating - I am currently on a very restricted diet for medical reasons - no black pepper, garlic, onions, tomatoes, or cheese. They were able to make something delicious and filling. Thank you so much!!!!

Pizza was soggy and uncooked. Didn't even try to eat this Calamari. The sauce was so hot it melted the plastic container's lid. We will never eat here again. This food would have been delicious but since it was cooked by sloppy amateurs, it turned out to be a tasteless mess. Hopefully they will step up their game one day...
