I ordered takeout Margherita pizza and a chicken parm dinner through Uber Eats. The whole process was smooth and the food was great.
The pizza was cooked perfectly, tasted great and presentation was awesome. The chicken parm was also great. The portion was huge and there was no doubt everything was made fresh.
I will be ordering again.

I came to this place for the first time and originally my friend and I had the intention to dine in when we walked in. As we waited for our pizza to be warmed up I stepped aside to use the restroom and
I Could hear the employees laughing hysterically to the point that I felt slightly uncomfortable however I didn't think much of it. When I came out of the restroom and approached my friend at the register and she shared how uncomfortable she felt because the whole time she was waiting for our pizza the staff were making inappropriate comments about her thinking she didn't speak Spanish

Im here in New Jersey from a trip to Florida , So I’m new to everything , decided to Uber food to the hotel after a long day out, I ordered from “Central Pizzeria” NOT the best decision. On Uber I asked to include utensils since I had a pasta , and I am not able to eat it because … I have NO UTENSILS. The mozzarella sticks were BEYOND salted and I could not even finish the first mozzarella I grabbed. To make things from bad to worse … I asked for chicken on my pizza , and they messed up ! I got a plain cheese pizza! Will not recommend, will not come back ever, highly disappointed. THANKS

I've recently moved into the area and this pizzeria came up so my bf and I decided to try it. We've gone here a few times, and never had an issue until last weekend.
We walked in, ordered our slices, and waited to be served. There was an older gentlemen putting our slices into the oven with his bare hands. My bf and I looked at each other like.....um bare hands on our pizza?
Just as we walked forward to the counter, my bf looks down and says MOUSE! I looked down and saw the little guy running from the fridge across the floor.
The same guy who was bare-handing our slices says "

Their soup used to be delicious. You'd think they'd say they don't have any right now or aren't serving that anymore but no. They actually microwaved a can of soup, put it in a container, and kindly packed it to go for me.

This was THE spot to go after a long night of drinking with friends! Pre-Covid times I would always hit this spot up with a group of friends after hanging out at the bars! We would get a whole pizza pie (works pizza is my personal favorite with sausage, peppers, mushrooms, and pepperoni) and some appetizers (breaded rice balls, mozzarella sticks)! I miss it so much! Nowadays I go mostly whenever I'm at Somerville for groceries at the Shop Rite across and grab a quick slice to go (NYC style)!

Not only did we wait over an hour for our food...it of course arrived, cold and disgusting. The Sicilian slices looked like they were 3days old. The personal pizzas were dried up and flavorless. The pasta Palermo was covered in dried out mozzarella...and the chicken parmigiana was beyond disgusting. Thought we'd give this place another try...hung mistake. Never AGAIN!!

I decided to revisit Central Pizzeria to check-in and compare the quality from two years ago to now. I'm happy to say that the quality has improved. The plain slice is still pretty average, but the margherita slice was tremendous. The sauce was rich and flavorful and the fresh basil was a pleasant addition. The base was browned perfectly and the crust was crisp and crunchy. Overall, this is a decent spot!

I rate this place three stars because it wasn't the cleanest nor was the atmosphere great! My friends and I were the only ones there (and it was a Saturday night). The bartender literally sat beside us to watch the football game since there was no one there.
However, the Chips and Guac and Buffalo Wings were pretty good!

Love this little Pizzeria on Somerville's amazing main street. Best pizza around. The staff is great, always accommodating. They have a great little bar tucked in the back full of locals, who will welcome strangers. Bar staff are friendly and learn your names quickly, Jay, Tommy, Nicole & Liz are wonderful. The chef is always coming up with tasty specials and out does himself. Daily drink and food specials. Can't be beat. They make a mean martini & their pasta dishes are too die for. Check them out. The restaurant next door, the Venetian is there if you want a quieter place.

Central Pizzeria, on West Main Street in Somerville, NJ is a local hangout where everyone seems to know each other by name, including the owners, a nice elderly couple who always seem to be there. They have metered street parking in front and a community lot behind with free parking. There is a back door so there is no need to walk around to enter.
