In our small workshops, younger learners (Grades 3-5) explore the logical structures of programming and gradually move from drag-and-drop in Scratch to basic coding in Python. More mature coders (Grades 6-8) learn the deeper fundamentals of programming using our proprietary teaching curriculum and start their coding practice with Python.
For all learners, this core knowledge is then translated into fun and interactive hands-on coding projects with the highly engaging Marty the Robot (Grades 3-5) and Misty the Robot (Grades 6-8). Marty the Robot is a real humanoid robot designed to teach kids about computer programming. Marty can walk, turn, dance, kick a football, and engage with young aspiring coders in ways that remote controlled cars and toys cannot.

Services
We are looking for enthusiastic instructors to teach part-time and full-time in our summer camp in 2021. Instructors work in small groups (max 4 students) teaching the principles of programming and then translate this knowledge into fun interactions with humanoid robots. Instructors also engage in games and outdoor activities with kids during lunch and breaks.

Fantastic!!! My incoming 6th grade son enjoying EVERY MINUTE!!! Matt was fantastic and wonderfully patient and really connected in an ideal way to both teach and convey the content, as well as understand the questions and relay incredibly helpful answers and suggestions!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! My son looks forward to more CODEMAKERS!!
