I am questioning driving the 80 miles to get my hair done again by my previous stylist here. I didn’t get her name since it was June, but it started with a K, lol.
She knew exactly what I was asking for, my hair is a lot of things and most barbers screw it up but she knew just what I needed for curlier hair. My sister also goes here regularly and doesn’t trust anyone else with her bangs anymore.

I’ve been going to denton color lab for a while and they do amazing work with my hair every time! I’ve moved out of Denton and I still make the drive to go here. They make sure you really love the end result!! I’ve attached pictures of some of the fun colors/cuts I’ve gotten done. I’ve gone to Katie, Leslie, Kay, and Danea and loved them all. :)

Nicole is a talented, saint who transformed my hair for my wedding day. The day before, my typical hairdresser absolutely butchered a balayage, leaving streaky highlights on my hair. I was in distress and was… calling all over to find someone who could help me on short notice and fix my hair before my big day. OMG!!!!! This place was amazing!!! From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, everyone was so friendly and made me feel so welcomes and it was 7:30pm!!! I walked in with deprived mom curly hair and Leslie legit made me feel so free and brought my hair back!!! My hair was mid back and we cut if to right above my shoulder and i AM IN LOVE WITH IT!! I finally found hair my place!!!! Already booked my next appointment and can’t wait!! Huge thank you Leslie for giving me a part of me back!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Autumn installed my hair extensions. She walked me through the process at our consultation, studied my hair and assured me that I was the suitable candidate to get extensions.
The process took nearly 4 hours, but between my primary stylist and Denton color lab, Autumn was able to color my extensions, glaze my hair to match and install the visible bead extension technique.
This service is very expensive, and maintaining it is also expensive.I thought it was worth it for my wedding day.

I came here because my usual barber is on paternal leave and let me just say it was an experience; top notch customer service from the moment you walk in, being greeted and offered a complimentary mimosa, yes… please. The staff has a positive, high energy and you can feel that they all enjoy what they’re doing and they do so much more than just cut hair, they make their guests feel like royalty and bring out the beauty that’s always been there. My stylist Autumn was amazing! I think my barber is going to have some competition lol.

I made a last minute appointment and they were very accommodating. my hair was a MESS. Everyone was super sweet and welcoming.
Alaina F. did an amazing job, I honestly wondered if I would have to shave my head and start over lol but she didn't give up and gave me a beautiful look. I am so glad I came in today!

I loved Danae! I originally got my tips dyed by another stylists and they were not the color I asked for and when Danae redid them, they were GORGEOUS. I have only gone back to her for any color or cuts I need. She is very nice to talk to and has a light hand that doesn't even feel like she's touching your head. She is, in my opinion, the best there :)

I'd never been here before, but had the place recommended so decided to try it out. I haven't had my hair dyed in years and will admit I am completely inexperienced. I loved my hair dresser, she was personable and kind. That being said I did not get what I had intended done. We talked about a dark red balayage and I now have bright red streaks in my hair. You can also see where the lightener was left on one side longer and resulted in bright red streaks. I was going for a more toned down look and now look like a hex girl. After having my hair lightened and dyed though I can't imagine

Alexis did a great job on my balayage! She was really nice and fun throughout the appointment.
I was appreciative that she did a color remover test strand during my first appointment.
I got a lot of compliments on my hair color. She was pricier than my usual hair colorist but my usual person was unavailable.
Overall it was a good experience!

Completely not worth $300. Maybe my mistake was going to a level 1 stylist...
I wanted to touch up my balayage and get my hair cut straight across. She even messed up the straight across cut, leaving an entire section longer than the rest. I went home and had to cut that section myself. And the color turned out very orange, despite my using the recommended Redkin's purple shampoo twice a week. The balayage also looks completely awkward and is nothing like the pictures we agreed on. I thought for the price of $300 a good color would be achievable, nope. Not to mention she tried to up-sale

I've been coming to Denton Color Lab off and on for a few years. I'm one of those tragic clients who falls off the hair appointment bandwagon and wakes up one morning realizing I've become some long-haired person that I don't recognize.
