The Ganzhorn Suites is a highly specialized memory care assisted living community committed to meeting the evolving needs of residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. We offer specialized memory care and programming in a beautiful, supportive environment. Our goal: set new standards for Alzheimer's and dementia care in a compassionate assisted living setting.
The Ganzhorn Suites Specialized Memory Care is a private, family-owned assisted living provider. We are currently looking for employees with a passion for working with seniors and providing one-of-a-kind care for those with memory loss. Care, enrichment programs, and staff training modules have been uniquely developed for persons with dementia.
If someone you love has Alzheimer's disease or dementia, you are keenly aware of the daily challenges caregivers face as the disease progresses. I, too, know what it's like to love someone whose memory has faded - my grandmother had Alzheimer's disease. She battled the disease for years, and while she is no longer with us, her memory is vivid in my heart and mind.
At The Ganzhorn Suites, families find confidence and peace of mind in our clinical expertise and extensive knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and dementia; but it's our guiding principles that INSPIRE. A place run by Karens. Upper management is elitist and snooty who look down on floor staff.
Bottom of the barrel nursing facility that hires bottom of the barrel staff who aren’t qualified to take care of people with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. They can’t keep anybody and are always hiring but they don’t want to hire anyone with experience.

What a great, professionally run Assisted Living Community offering great care. My mother in law stayed there for a time. She was loved on and they figured out her meds quickly as the place before that she had been in could not get it right. What a huge relief that they fixed it within days. Thanks Ganzhorn, Deborah and Anne for taking care of her so well!

Wonderful management team and staff. My mother-in-law was staying in a dementia wing of another community but they could not "handle" her. Ganzhorn's acuity to take on difficult patients was so much higher. After working with her for only a few days, all of a sudden her hard to deal with tendencies began to subside. I think with the changes to medications they helped implement (didn't just want to "snow" my mother-in-law with meds) and proper redirection by the staff, she began to thrive. Love this place!

Each and every staff member goes out of their way to assist residents, families and healthcare professionals feel at home throughout their days. I was going to pass on writing this review but for the sake of truth i will. this place is awesome. The area is neat and the care team seems to work together. I only came here for orientation and passed on the job offer. the clincal coordinator is shrewd and not a people person. She has a disrespectful attitude towards people beneath her. watch for this lady she will crumble this place.

As a specialized memory care facility (aka an assisted living facility for those with dementia and Alzheimer's disease) , Ganzhorn is about as good as it gets. Although I wish such facilities weren't necessary, they are.
Every time I have visited, the staff have been great. The facility is clean, the staff attentive, and the residents cared for. Monitoring wristbands let you and the staff know where your loved one is at all times. Within the facility, residents are free to move around both inside and outside. Just want to say today they had a miracle at Ganzhorn. She went kicking and screaming, (with moment of peace), mad as a hornet. Today she made a friend. My mother does not make friends easily. They did puzzles together. ( my mother can't see to do puzzles) so she talked while her new friend did the puzzles. I am in happy tears. They ate… dinner together. They are laughing together. This is truly a miracle. Thank you caregivers and all staff at Ganzhorn Suites. I can go to sleep tonite with a smile and know tomorrow will be another day, but for now, " MY MOTHER MADE A FRIEND!"
