Realistic hairlike strokes are created using a hand held tool and tiny blade. Results are soft and natural looking and works best on individuals who prefer not to wear a lot of makeup. Two sessions are needed to create your desired look. Results can last 1-3 years. An annual refresher touch up every 1-1.5 years is recommended for the life of your brows.
No Niacin, fish oil, prenatal vitamins, Vitamin E, Asprin, Advil or Ibuprofen 48 hours before your microblading procedure. No chemical Peels, facials (including Hydro facials) 3 weeks before your scheduled micro blading date. If you have any questions about microblading or permanent makeup being safe for you, ALWAYS consult with your provider before your procedure.
For your micro bladed eyebrows to heal correctly, do NOT sweat for a full 10 days. Anything that causes you to sweat, such as gardening, working out at the gym, exposing yourself to hot weather. Sweat causes the eyebrow hair strokes to blur under the skin. If you sweat and it goes into the pores, it will ruin your pigmentation.
In order to register for an upcoming microblading class in Chicago it's important to set aside 3 days out of your week to study for 8-10 hours a day. Our 3 day microblading training in Chicago is a 1 on 1 class. This means Moxie Allure owner Kristin believes 1 on 1 teaching is the best way to become an artist over her 3 day microblading certification course.

At first I really liked Moxie Allure. I got my first set of lashes with Jaz and she is GREAT. I would highly recommend her if she worked elsewhere.
However, I became increasingly disappointed with every following visit. Here's why:
-While my first set was great and retained insanely well, the 2-3 wk fills I got afterwards with Marie and Mariah did not last AT ALL (Jaz was not available on the online booking, otherwise I would have gone to her). My outside lashes would fall off within one or two days...every time.
-They have an online appointment booking service, which would be great if

I took a class in April for microblading and it was the worst class ever. DO NOT WASTE 3000 on this class. She was very unprofessional, over 30 min late to class and didn't even teach everything that was in the "course outline". We never practiced mapping and I didn't even get my kit till a week after class. Very frustrating when you save all this money for a class to better yourself and this is what You get out of it.

I had microblading done by Jazmine and I could not be happier. I went in with an idea of what I thought that I wanted. Jazmine took the time to ask me questions, to make sure that she understood what I had in mind and then explained to me the different options that I had. I have already been back for my touch up and I am super happy with the results. They provide you with detailed instructions and everything you need for aftercare. I love my brows! I will definitely be back to try other services.

I first went to Moxie in June 2019 to have my brows microbladed. I went for my annual touch up December 2020. Wish I would have gone sooner. My brows look so much better on zoom with limited makeup. Love having defined, natural looking brows 100% of the time. Jasmine is a great artist!

I had my brows done a few years ago and what I thought I needed was a touch up. Joke on me! This time I had Jazmine. Jazmine gave me a mini consultation and stated its best I redid them as I had no ink/Microblading which was true as I never went back to touch up as my experience before was "painful". So here I go with Ms Jazzybrows trusting her and letting her take charge. I felt nothing. Healing was amazing and this touch up was flawless. I have her in my calendar for a year to date and asked her to never leave me. I highly recommend her. She is a blessing to my brows.

I had gone here to get my eyebrows microbladed for the first time and they did an amazing job! Naturally my eyebrows are thin, patchy, and uneven but they filled in all the spots so they naturally look much fuller and better. No need for me to buy pencils anymore :)

Kristen has been doing an amazing in correcting and reshaping my eyebrows after getting microblading done elsewhere. She has been taking her time and was straightforward with the process from the beginning. She was recommended by other friends who had their eyebrows done by her and she did a fabulous job on both. I made an appointment online for a touchup. Shortly there after I received a text message that I would need to call and speak with someone to confirm my appointment I placed two calls, no one answered, and left a voicemail asking for someone to call me back. I received a gift certificate for microblading and decided to book with Tran (an Advanced Artist) in the Oak Park location. My initial experience was awesome: Tran listened, took her time and gave me a great start to my brows. I was thrilled with the results! A week before my 4-8 week touch up, I got a call that Tran wasn't available and I would need to reschedule. I was (understandably) nervous because I'd already built up some trust with Tran. I am reposting my review with a 5. Now that my eyebrows have lightened up I'm starting to love them. I think anyone who plans on doing Microblading should really read about it because at first it looks awkward but it does get so much better. I'm very excited for my touch up appointment. The owner of Moxie was so nice and understanding when I had my melt down. She was right though, you just have to give it sometime. It hasn't even been a full 2 weeks and they already look great.

Kristin is the best! She was recommended to me by numerous friends who had gotten their eyebrows micro-bladed by her. I have now become a yearly customer of hers! The salon is super cute and very chic. From my consultation to my 3rd year of microblading, Kristin has made me feel nothing but comfortable throughout the process between making sure my brows are nice and numb to taking her time with my measurements to showing me that she is open new and sterile blades. I would highly recommend Kristin as well as her highly trained employees.

I just have to say even though I just got my micro blading done this morning I’m so in love with my results!! Mariah is AWESOME! She made me feel so at ease. I looooove my eyebrows! Kristin was an angel! She explained everything she would do from start to finish which was super helpful for me because I was really nervous. Her work is beautiful! I went to this salon as an "eyelash extensions virgin." I was a bit nervous, but mostly because I didn't want to lay around for an hour and 1/2, haha. The salon is really cute and decorated well.
The lash technician was really great- not too chatty, but also not silent and awkward :) She asked if I had any questions and we chatted through a few of my concerns.

My sister had some thin eyebrows and needed a new look and she wanted to try microbladding. I took my sister to Maria and she was great! She was super nice, very knowledgeable and professional. The place is very clean and organized. She was very patient with my sister took her time to make sure my sister was comfortable and answered all her questions.
