Avoid blood thinning medications, vitamins, supplements (with consent from your physician) vitamin E, aspirin, niacin, fish oil, ibuprofen etc. We will cover aftercare in detail at your appointment and you will be given a copy of eaxct instructions. Every person is different and this is a general estimate of how your body will heal.
We provide laser-free removal of unwanted microblading, eyeliner, permanent make up and small tattoos using a natural lightening solution to dissolve the pigment and exfoliate it thru a scabbing process. Unlike pigment removal using a laser, this method will not remove hair follicles or cause painful blisters.

Jen is the eyebrow QUEEN. Her talent and eye for microblading is unmatched. Can't tell you how often people comment on how great my eyebrows look- and that is all thanks to Jen. Jen is very professional and timely. When your appointment is booked she follows the time scheduled. She is very nice, personable, and funny. She tells you what she will do then as she’s doing it she walks you through what she is doing next.
If your nervous like I was she will make that go away. She is open to your opinion on how you want your eyebrows but she also gives her professional opinion as to not have you walking out of there with weird eyebrows.
I recommended my neighbor who has has the same present experience as myself.

Went to Jen this past weekend for microblading and I couldn't be happier! She is great, very detailed and listens to what you want. The salon and equipment are VERY clean. I live two hours away and she offered to come in on a Saturday just to fit me in. Great experience! Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back in a few weeks for my touch up. :)

I've been going to Midwest Microblading for over two years. My first two experiences were with Katie who was an angel. I am someone who has LOTS of questions and she answered them all with a smile on her face. Her work was amazing and honestly, microblading was the best beauty choice I've made in my adult life. My most recent experience was with Jen and once again, amazing. She followed all CDC guidelines and made me feel whole again with my touch up. She also was a peach as I would text her with the wildest questions. I can't wait for her to work her magic again at my next touch

Not worth what they charge at all. I have seen my before and after on their page and yes it looks satisfying but it's not a true representation of what you will live with. I have to disclose I never had my 2nd follow up appointment. My grandmother passed the day prior, I called leaving a voicemail and never heard from Katie again. Happy to take $700+ dollars but can't return a call. Save your money.

Spoke to Katie on the telephone - who for every question I asked - her response was immediately - have I been on their website indicating I was "wasting her time" since all answers were on the website.
They also do not provide "free" consultations which everyone else in the business does. Not that big of an issue to pay the $25.00 for a consultation to see if microblading was the way to go for my needs.

Absolutely love Jen's work! She's very detailed and easy to work with. Prices are reasonable, totally worth it! I literally had no eyebrows and now after microblading it stimulated growth, and now I have a full set of natural eyebrows! Complete life changer for me! Then I've also come in for tattoos and now is my favorite tattoo artist as well! Super excited to continue to get some more pieces done by Jen!

Unfortunately I called to ask a question and my appt was cancelled because of high blood pressure. I also had a doctors note clearing me. If there were any concerns someone should have contacted me before a few days before my appt. And I called them with a question. Then oh O cancelled your appt. My info sheet indicating this was filled out as soon as the appt was made I am really disappointed This should be stated on the form or listed on the website before one wastes their time thinking they have an appt scheduled. And my deposit should have been returned immediately

I was nervous about having this done but knew it would make a difference in terms of shortening my daily makeup routine. Katie was so professional and personable. She truly partners with you to create the exact look you're going for. And her after care approach is much better than the dry heal approach I've read about, which sounds very difficult. Plus, you can tell health and cleanliness are super important to her. So glad I did this!

Jen did my eyebrows, and she was the best! She's super sweet! We talked about what I wanted beforehand, and she was was so patient with me while tracing and retracing where to color until it was perfect for me. I received so many compliments and still do bc she's that good!
It's a little cold bc low temps help the process. So make sure to bring some layers! Parking was pretty easy as well.

I waited to write my review until after healing from the touch-up. I am beyond thrilled with my results. I suffered from over-waxed brows from college and they were very far apart. I was always self-conscious of my brows and previously did the old style eyebrow tattoo. It helped a lot but did not work for the center of my brows. I got my eyebrows microbladed by Katie. I had hardly any eyebrows to begin with and was terrified that microbladed brows would look awful on me. Katie walked me though the process step by step and was so sweet! Her office is easy to get to, clean and adorable! My brows turned out great! I love them! I was totally shocked by how real they look. My only advice is to listen to your technician - especially on color choices! They know whats best! I would recommend Katie 100 times over!

Ever since my initial appointment I have been raving about this place and my girl Jen! She has completely transformed my once over-plucked 90s no-brows into glorious, perfectly symmetrical goddess brows. I know there are so many girls like me who have to waste time getting ready making sure their brows are filled in evenly and that they "match" when doing their makeup. Sometimes you'd be driving and you can't stop analyzing them in the rear view mirror worrying one is thicker than the other, the arches don't match, or they look to heavy or harsh, etc. UGH! That was me up

As someone that thinks on decisions for awhile, I am sorry I waited so long to have my eyebrows done. I cannot rave enough about Katie and Midwest Microblading. Katie is very detailed oriented from her website, to her shop to her procedures and her after communication. She explained everything in detail and was meticulous with her infection precautions because she has a healthcare background. The outcome though is the best praise. I went from almost nonexistent eyebrows to eyebrows that are a perfect shape and color match for me.

The clinic is incredibly clean and all tools are single use (Katie makes sure to show you all packaging prior to your procedure). As a healthcare professional, I appreciate her attention to sterile procedure throughout the process.
