We wanted to take a moment to let you know what a terrific job Robyn did on Saturday evening. And on Saturday morning, and on Saturday during the day! She seemingly never stopped working on coordinating the many moving parts! And she did all this in such a cool confident manner that it allowed a total control freak like myself to give up the details to the professionals!

WONDERFUL team! COJ is a warm and and fabulous team to hire for your wedding planning. They are THE planning team for the desert. Every vendor we went to, they knew and loved them. They truly brought their A game when helping us plan a wedding in the middle of pandemic, and always kept such a great attitude. We worked with Cathy & Angela and they spent SO much time and energy and care to make sure we made our day happen. They were so patient when I would get stuck on making a decision! I love them both personally and appreciate the time they gave to us and our family through the whole process

Cathy officiated our wedding during COVID.I can't say enough great things about her. We initially met with a variety of officiant's all the different price points, but we really loved the Cathy's warmth, kindness, and experience. My husband and I both work long hours and she was able to meet with us via zoom around our schedules. She provided a variety of resources that really helped us both in the planning and preparation for the wedding. She was willing to get Covid tested and quarantine the week prior for our 10 guest wedding. She both offered a variety of resources without pushing

We worked with Cathy, Angela and Jessica, and their entire team are extremely professional and helpful . From working at over 400+ weddings I have seen my fair share of really bad planners/coordinators. My daughter had researched and looked into a number of wedding planners in early Fall, 2018 for her November, 2019 wedding. The majority of the venues we looked into had COJ Events as one of their "preferred vendors."

Cathy and her team are phenomenal! Our good friends had worked with Cathy for their wedding at the Avalon in Palm Springs in March 2017. We trust our friends and knew we needed lots of help because we live in SF, so we jumped into working with Cathy very enthusiastically for our April 2019 wedding at the Sands Hotel and Spa in Indian Wells.

We contracted with Cathy in August 2018 for our wedding at The Parker in Palm Springs on 3/2/2019. We are currently based in NYC. Cathy's expertise and knowledge in regards to The Parker, Palm Springs and the vendors who are most suited to an event like ours was invaluable. The event exceeded our expectations. Cathy O'Connell owner of COJ was contracted Jan 2018 for our daughters wedding 10mos in advance of the big day Nov 2018. Cathy was excited and convincing in her initial interview and her social media shows well. I had even attended a wedding she "planned". She recommended a great hotel for our guests, found us an awesome florist and worked with our budget, in addition to so many other things. Was a pleasure to work with! Oh. My. Goodness. We are currently in the middle (well, two months away) from planning our wedding and Cathy has been absolutely flawless. My fiancé and I wanted a very low-key but classy wedding of around 50 people. We really didn't want to "give in" to all of the wedding traps of doing everything grand and over the top. After visiting several desert venues for my daughter's wedding, I called Cathy of Celebrations of Joy, Wedding Planners because she was the same name suggested by every venue. I left her a panicky message on a Sunday morning, and to my total surprise, she called me back that morning. She gave me some seasoned advice about the venues. I was very impressed that she would take the time to do that and her advice showed that she really knew what she was talking about. I have had the pleasure of working with Cathy for the past few years. I am a calligrapher, and am usually contacted to print names on place cards for the wedding reception...and that sort of thing. Cathy is so creative....the last two projects I have had from her show such immagination and thought..........no "plain Jane" little cards..........unusual and clever ideas for me to work with!
She also gives me plenty of time....no last minute rushing. Her instructions are clear and concise, and I look forward to hearing from this great group for their next function........if you use them

Cathy is fantastic. We recently eloped in Palm Springs and had a very simple ceremony with just the two of us, photographers and Cathy as the officiant. With such a small crowd it was important for us to feel comfortable with everyone involved.
From the start Cathy was warm and helpful. She offered great suggestions to help pull our day together (flowers, dinner, words for our ceremony). She was prompt to respond to emails and answered all of my questions. We totally trusted her and she was a huge part in making our day special.

I was skeptical of hiring a wedding coordinator at first. As a working professional who manages a large team I figured I could handle planning a wedding. My husband and I got married a little over a month ago at the La Quinta Resort & Club and the entire wedding weekend was perfection thanks to Cathy and Dorry of Celebrations of Joy. They assisted us with everything from choosing vendors to stuffing welcome bags.
