It can be challenging to make the decision to walk through the door of a counseling center. We understand because we've each been there. You're fed up. You're tired. And you don't know if you have the strength to even want to trust someone else with your most private struggles.
You need solutions to the stress and exhaustion that is eating up your days, and you don't want to waste time meeting a multitude of counselors just to see if you're a "fit".Those are the very reasons that we started Creative Counseling Center of NWA. From the minute you walk in our doors, we want you to feel comfortable-like, kick off your shoes and curl up with a blanket comfortable.

Services
Creative Counseling Center of NWA understands that you always have a choice in your mental health care. That's why we are dedicated to providing the very best counseling experience in Northwest Arkansas! Our counselors have over 60 years of combined clinical experience to assist you and your family.
Beth is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Principal Partner/Co-Founder of Creative Counseling Services of NWA. For over 23 years, I've loved working with pre-teens, adolescents, and adults who need extra support when dealing with issues we all may experience at some point. In therapy, I help people gain understanding of things that keep them "emotionally stuck" and explore alternatives to achieve a healthier and more fulfilled life.
Simply call us at (479) 364-0075 or send us a request by email at info@creativenwa.com. If you are a medical provider or other professional, you may also fax us a referral at (479) 668-4836. Please give us 24 hours to contact your client/patient. Yes, we do! After your appointment is scheduled with one of our counselors, you should recieve text and/or email notification of your appointment 24 hours prior to the scheduled session time.
We connect providers and clients through sector development, deep relationships, and innovative technology to empower our community toward full collaboration. EFT approaches include elements of experiential therapy, systemic therapy, and attachment theory. EFT is usually a short-term treatment.

I was brand new to therapy and had no idea what to expect. I have to say after experiencing the empathy, kindness, and life changing insights at Creative Counseling Center I only wish I had started going sooner! Beth is just so wonderful. She is that special kind of person who knows how to provide a safe environment where I feel I can share anything. When it comes to therapy, trauma work, etc. she knows her stuff! She has provided me with real tools that I can go out and use to successfully navigate this oftentimes unpredictable/scary/difficult/joyful/beautiful experience we call life. Creative

I can't say enough. Medical trauma... a troubled marriage... children acting out... total hopelessness... childhood issues... I could not even tell which way was up when I started therapy with Beth. I am a real person again. I have worked with a number of counselors. Although each has strengths, if you have serious stuff to work through, Beth's the one. She's professional, remembers important events years after the fact, and is well-versed in all kinds of therapy types. She referred me to additional forms of support as needed. She cares but never offers "fluffy, feel-good" sessions. She tells it

I’ve been seeing Beth for a little over a year now. I had tried a few therapists in high school, but had given up on trying to find one who sought to help me through my issues rather than invalidate them. Beth has helped me learn how to improve my life and relationships in healthy ways, and I’m very grateful for this counseling center!

Beth is absolutely AMAZING! I have been seeing her since February. I didn't think I would feel comfortable talking to someone about person stuff but she makes you feel so comfortable! She helps you understand things in all ways & very down to earth. The office is very warm & welcoming. If you are looking for a therapist I HIGHLY recommend them!

Prior to April of this year, I always uncomfortable about discussing my feelings and the thoughts that would go through my head. After my first meeting with Creative Counseling, I instantly felt a weight lifted off my shoulders. Mental Health is so important especially during these uncertain times. The staff at Creative Counseling is attentive and caring to whatever needs or issues you might be experiencing during this time. I would 10000% recommend their counseling services to anyone that is in need. They saved my life and I know they will save more.

I cannot say enough great things about Stacey! I’ve been seeing her for over a year and I’m in such a better place personally and professionally because of it. She has helped me dig deep into my past to understand things that shaped my life while also developing so many skills and better ways to cope that I can use in my daily life.

Having known Beth Tellez as both a mentor and a colleague I can honestly say she is one of the most knowledgeable people I know when it comes to mental health. But it doesn’t stop there, Beth is amazingly passionate about meeting the mental health needs of her community and is a warrior in the fight against mental heath stigma. You can tell it is definitely a calling and not just a profession for her.

I have known Beth as a colleague for well over a decade, working with many different client populations. It is rare to find a counselor as professional, ethical, caring, and well-educated in the field as Beth is. Her knowledge base in both therapy and community resources round out the patient experience, creating a path to long term success for her clients. I highly recommend Beth and can confidently say that our mutual colleagues would do the same.

Beth has been absolutely amazing. I’ve been meeting with her for almost two years and she has changed my life. I have less anxiety and better self confidence and self care as well as better relationships with others. She is so easy to talk to. I feel like she is more than my counselor. She is my mentor.

Charlotte Mitchell Evans is one of the best counselors I have had the privilege of working with. She is caring, profession, provides multiple resources, and is professional in her counseling strategies. I have worked with her across time. She helped me through divorce, the loss of a parent, and in dealing with a very difficult family situation. In each instance, she provided insight, while guiding me to make good decisions for myself and others. I am a better and stronger person due to her guidance. I am thankful for her.

I have known Beth for nine years and her clinical knowledge is extensive. She has a genuine love for therapy and she truly enjoys watching her clients work through issues and come out stronger and more empowered. As a mental health professional myself, I have met few as caring and professional as Beth.
