Services
Oronoque Village condominium homes were designed to reflect a natural harmony with the surrounding woods and rolling hills, as well as the relaxed lifestyle of active adults. San Francisco architects, working with local architects, created a style drawn from the New England saltbox, the Swiss chalet and the Northern California cottage.
Set in a serene landscape of gently rolling hills and encircled by a golf course, offering more interior space and storage than most comparable condos in southwestern Connecticut, Oronoque Village homes are among the best values available to active adults. Most homes include a lower level (we don't call them basements because they aren't - they're real living spaces).
Owners of Oronoque Village homes pay monthly common homeowner's fees payable to the Oronoque Village Condominium Association (OVCA). These fees are not taxes, they are fees collected to finance the budget of OVCA. Separately, property taxes are paid to the Town of Stratford in addition to taxes paid quarterly to the Oronoque Village Tax District to finance that budget.
As with any condominium, Oronoque has rules and regulations that help preserve the unique and highly desirable community that we are. Although you will want to review these in their entirety, some of the more important are summarized below. Occupancy is restricted to households in which one person is at least 55 years old, and no resident child is under age 17.
For those who like to participate in sports and keep fit, Oronoque Village is an ideal setting - with active residents eager to meet you for a daily match at the racquet sports facility or a round of golf. Residents can work out year-round in our fitness center or join trainer-led exercise, yoga and Zumba groups.

This seems more of a retirement community. Alot of old people walking around, and they don't use the pools. You over priced for condos that aren't sided.

Beautiful place. We did my daughter's baby shower in one of the halls. Great place to have it. Looking around I wish I was old enough to live there. A few of the people we met that did live there were very friendly.

As I live here, I am naturally prejudiced, but it is a good place, mature setting, well run, very good amenities.

It's a great condominium complex for 55 and older. It has one major drawback. It kind of sits off on its own and they don't provide any public transportation to shopping or movie theaters or doctors. Driving to these places isn't so bad for someone in the 55 year old range but how about for someone in the 85 or 90 year old range?

Easy to find. Right off of Route 110 (Howe Ave) across from Sikorsky. Numbers of residence are easy to read and signs are easy to follow. Speed bumps are in place so go slow. People walki ng dogs too, so 10mph or slower recommended.
