Too often young women carry shame around sexual experiences or medical abnormalities-and we're here to help reduce that shame. Our patients know that any topic of concern will be discussed with compassion and non-judgement. We take patient confidentiality very seriously and will not share any information to family members or other doctors without the patient's written consent.
Prenatal care, infertility, endometriosis. Women navigate some unfamiliar situations and decisions during their family planning and childbearing years. With 30 years of experience caring for patients, I have developed keen listening skills that assist me in solving problems. I provide my patients with the knowledge they need to make the decisions that feel best to them.
Is 50 really the new 30? I understand that it can be challenging to feel your best through pre, peri, and post menopause. The body experiences a lot of changes. I've helped numerous women navigate midlife in a way that makes them feel and look their best. You've probably spent most of your life focused on others.
At every annual visit, patients receive a Women's Wellness Lab Panel that provides a window into their overall health. It is a powerful assessment tool for women to discover opportunities to better care for themselves and feel amazing. Together we review your results and discuss any further treatment that would best support your body's needs.
I empower my patients with knowledge and options so they can make decisions that feel right for them. If patients ask for guidance, we may discuss their current eating habits and weight-loss or wellness goals. Along with insights from their Women's Wellness Lab, we may discuss crafting their own diet and exercise regimen that feels good and sustainable.

Terrible doctor. Saw her years ago. Had a few appointments with her and two terrible experiences. I recall her being arrogant and dismissive. I was young and ignorant and didn't know that I should've challenged her on her diagnoses and recommendations. Live and learn. I write this so that others avoid her and find better care from a more caring doctor.

I did a lot of research to find an OB/GYN with great reviews so I was hopeful Dr. Chams would be awesome. There was a 6 week wait just for a regular office visit. Unfortunately I felt like she wasn't interested in me as a patient and tried to get me out of her office as soon as possible. I will not be returning. I was further upset by her office visit price. It was $200 after my decent PPO insurance, just for her to speak with me. Very disappointing, it seems this doctor is more interested in money than helping people from my impression.

I can't image a better doctor's office experience. Dr. Chams is so friendly, understanding, thorough, kind, and compassionate. I've been to 6 or more gynecologists trying to find the right fit, and Dr. Joyce Chams is above and beyond amazing. I especially appreciated that she does bloodwork/wellness panels that I would normally have to go to a primary care doctor for. Absolutely love this office & adore Dr Chams! I was fortunate enough to find this office last year during the the pandemic, when I needed to see someone urgently. Dr Chams is incredibly professional, supportive, knowledgeable, and reassuring. One of the main benefits of this office (besides Dr Chams, herself) is that not only will the pap/breast/routine gynecological exam be completed efficiently, but Dr Chams may also go beyond the minimum and complete your annual physical eval if you need one. That’s so beneficial for me, as it means I don’t have to schedule with yet another office or PCP

Excellent patient care- front desk staff ,as well. Dr. Joyce listens and answers every question patiently. You never feel rushed. She explains whatever procedure she is performing and develops a relationships with you. I have been seeing Dr. Chams for many years- my daughters go as well. HIghly recommended!!

I have been seeing Joyce for over 23 years and have since sent my niece and my daughter. Most people cringe at the thought of going to the gyne, but not with Joyce. I actually look forward to going and seeing her and her amazing staff. From my first pregnancy to now entering menopause, she is the only doctor I truly trust. New patient here. I have been searching for a good GYN for years - my two previous doctors retired and left me "homeless" for last 8 years. A friend referred me to Dr. Chams and I had my first appointment. Great office. super nice staff, perfect location. Dr. Chams is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, professional. I did not feel she was rushing, she took her time to get to know my history. Overall great experience.

I have gone to Dr Chams for the past 17 years. My daughters also go to her. She is patient kind, professional and compassionate. She is sensitive to the needs of individual patients and their histories. Her office staff is a family- they treat everyone who comes in with the same attention, courtesy and respect. They pay attention to details as well as to privacy for each patient. I would highly recommend this practice.
