We are a general veterinary practice that treats animals in clinic, on farms, and at stables throughout Hardin and surrounding counties. We are equipped for outpatient care for companion animals, horses, and food animals. Our practice uses diagnostic and treatment techniques including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house lab services and orthopedic surgery.
Emphasis is placed on client education and preventative care. Our staff members are knowledgeable and enjoy working with our patients. We provide professional, medical, and surgical care in an informal environment. Many of our regular clients become friends as well.

Services
We offer preventative and emergency appointments for dogs, cats, and some exotics. Preventative procedures for your companion animal include vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea and tick medication, wellness bloodwork, and elective surgeries including spay, neuter, dental cleanings, mass removals, and gastropexy.
Our facility is equipped to handle horses arriving to our clinic for exam, hospitalization, or surgery. We also have three trucks stocked for diagnosing and treating multiple horses on your property. Individual and herd based preventive medicine including deworming protocols, dental floats, and extractions.
All animals are important to us, including those that feed us. It is valuable to understand the reproduction and disease processes of these animals to ensure their overall health is at an optimum. Our doctors are well versed in these areas and are willing to help personalize a plan for your farm. A visit to your farm may be needed to formulate this plan or for a sick/injured animal.
Some species of animals may be foreign to other clinics. At Diamond M we are happy to treat these animals and work in the situations that may be problematic. If your pet is not listed here, give us a call! We may be able to help you find a better match for your animal's care. Herd health including vaccine protocols, disease surveillance, sick animal checks, and deworming protocols.
Animals can get injured or need emergency medical care at any hour of the day. Diamond M staff is available to you for these emergencies to help your pet feel better faster. Cost of this medical care may be of concern to you so please contact our staff to get an estimate of procedures and possible payment options to make healing the most important worry.

disgusting they let a horse seize out and bleed and it’s eyes exploded ON SMALL CHILDREN!!! the horse was 37 years old and came in to get euthanized! those kids are traumatized because they couldn’t do their job right oh and they sent the owners a bill! they should be ashamed of themselfs.

Our nine month old Texas Heeler, Skye, was chewing on a section of a beef leg bone when she managed to get her lower jaw through the bone, which became stuck when it dropped behind her lower canine teeth. When I tried to dislodge it, she became frightened and apprehensive to the point that I had to seek a solution. I called Diamond M Veterinarian Clinic and was told there was one emergency case ahead of me but they would call me as soon as it was taken care of. Shortly I got the call to bring her out. When we arrived, I was led to a room where I met "Cat" and "Emily", who quickly attended to Skye

Well our dog chewed on a piece of treated lumber and got sick. Went to diamond m vet, our regular vet office. Almost 2hrs later and nearly $400 in and we are told he has an enlarged spleen, handed 2 different meds. Now because we asked about prices as we went through the process , we weren't offered an iv to rehydrate him. However since we did ask about prices, we were offered to surrender our dog , since obviously they assume we are too poor to take care of him. After returning home, we had a few more questions about his care, was told that the dr would call later that evening. Never happened

The staff are very friendly here and you can tell they truly love animals, the reason for the 3 stars is because I paid $48 for my bird to have his wings clipped to
Help make training and bonding easier however I had to finish clipping his wings myself so kind of upset I could've gone to
Petsmart and paid $24, I drove 30 minutes for
Nothing
