My goal markers were met with the help of the amazing staff. Case Manager is amazing, some of the recovery coaches were a huge help such as Daria, Tony, Sam, and Felicia, they went above and beyond for me and making sure I was working and staying on track with my recovery. I am more than thankful for them and the impact they've had on me. Trisha helped me transform into someone on the path for continued recovery. All medical staff was amazing and attentive and kind. Discovery Point Retreat in Waxahachie Tx far exceeded my expectations of a treatment facility. It is a life changing/life saving experience that I would recommend to anyone in need of treatment. The facility is so comfortable and inviting, it feels like a second home. The staff are second to none… and in my darkest moments, they were there for me instantaneously! DPR changed my life, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the tools they gave me to tackle the world. I needed help, I really honestly did and thought this would be the best bet for me. I completed my full treatment and there really are some people there that actually care about you, ie therapist, most RC's and the nurses. I was going through the check out process on my last couple of days and they said that out of the blue that my insurance was out of network when the first phone call I made to them they said it was and continually throughout this whole program. Spoke with the head of the location and she said "don't worry about it, it's fine. They sent you to the wrong location, not a big deal

This place was a big help to my journey of recovery! I am forever grateful of the staff an the therapists there. I suffered along time with addiction and when I checked in here I got a lot of support an help from the people over at DPR. Without discovery point I would be lost. I wouldn’t be 8 months sober leading peer led recovery meeting of IOP for discovery point and living life and myself again. Through rehab, sober living and IOP I learned who I was, what was at the heart of my destructive behavior and how to deal with it and get past it. My life is finally mine again. My wife and my daughter accept me for me and support me fully in my journey. Thank you to everyone at discovery point for all they did to help me find the courage to love myself again!

I am now approaching my one year of sobriety after leaving Discovery Point Retreat. It was experience that was both insightful and rewarding at the same time. I never felt like I was being judged or treated like I did something wrong. Once I understood the neurobiology of the addictive brain, things started to click for me. For me to say that I am "Powerless over alcohol" was very difficult for a long period of time. I was believed I could control my own actions. I had the most healing experience at DPR in Ennis. The facility is beautiful and the staff is amazing. They really care about their clients and aren't all about just the business aspect of it. They care deeply about what's best for the patient. I've been to treatment before and this place is more about the holistic side of addiction. What and why we use and how we can cope with our emotions. Other treatment centers are 12 step based. They provide outside meetings for those who want to participate in that, but they wont "brainwash" you into thinking that's the only solution. This experience I will

Let me start by saying this is the first time ever for me to be in, that being said, I don't have anything compared too. Discovery Point Retreat was absolutely wonderful. It was the exact relaxing, learning and interaction I needed to accomplish what needed to be done. The staff was very respectful and caring from the directors down to the RC's. The food was wonderful, it was made by an amazing chef and her amazing staff. The outings are nice to be able to see how you do in reality.
