Services
The story of Casa Colina is the culmination of many life stories woven together by a higher power with aim at a higher purpose. Our story begins long before Casa Colina was even an idea. Chico West got sober over thirty years ago and began his journey of helping men and their families build a life in sobriety.
Casa Colina, led by a multi-disciplinary treatment team of substance abuse and health professionals, embraces a holistic approach to addiction treatment. Our passionate team of addiction treatment professionals have over 100 years of combined experience in the fields of addiction and behavioral health.
At Casa Colina, we offer comprehensive services to help individuals gain healing and foster new coping skills. The range of services we provide aim to help men with substance use disorder, mental health issues, and dual diagnosis disorders so they can simultaneously address root cause issues, learn new coping skills, and restore family strain to live productive lives and find lifelong sobriety.
Casa Colina is a men's residential treatment facility. Clients that come into Casa Colina will be expected to become committed to the treatment and recovery process. This commitment includes not only yourself but also your family as it comes to clinical recommendations. Once a guest joins us at Casa Colina, he will be assigned a fellow male peer to orient and to help integrate him into the recovery community.
Casa Colina in Dallas, Texas understands that addiction doesn't just affect one aspect of a person's life. We collaborate with each individual and their families to designate the best course of action for healing and success treating the entire person instead of just the underlying symptoms. Drug addiction affects millions worldwide.

I swore I was gonna write a review like 8 months ago… Casa saved me dawg. I thought it was bs the first month I was there to be honest and If you’re on the way there reading this thinkin its bs just know it’s not a joke over there. Yes they have fun and joke all the time but the homies in there are savin lives Fr fr. I wasn’t always fun to deal with in there but they knew I was a good kid that needed truth. They gave me truth and now I live a much truer life. I think about every staff member and every peer from my time in casa EVERY SINGLE DAY. If you need someone to help you save yourself

When my husband needed help fighting his addiction, this is where he went. It has certainly not been an easy journey — emotionally, financially, and physically — but he is healing. He was guided to build a solid plan for recovery. Our kids and I have been given some of the tools we need to begin recovery, as well. It’s certainly not an easy road to navigate, but Casa Colina has removed many of the barriers and has pointed us in the right direction.
I highly recommend Casa Colina to any man (young or old) in need of addiction therapy.

The team at casa Colina really cares about their patients and their after care. I am grateful to have come through here in 2018 and I share my experience quite a bit at treatment centers in dfw. I am also invited back to casa Colina to share my experience to help guys who are currently residents there. Casa Colina really helped put a mirror back on me and look at some major flaws. Ultimately the trajectory of my life has changed and by making the decision to stay here and get back on track I have saved my business, my personal finances, and my relationships. Change is not easy. Change comes from

This was the second worst drug rehab center I’ve ever experienced over the course of my attempts to get sober. The worst was Stillwater’s (male only) in Tennessee.
Most of the staff clearly don’t care or maybe they’re burnt out. I met with my counselor twice a week, which was actually one of the highlights of Casa. Unfortunately twice a week isn’t close to enough for men with traumatic and mental issues.
I was recently diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Casa admissions assured me I’d receive treatment for this affliction. This place provided no TBI treatment whatsoever.

Horrible experience as a patient. The staff was very unorganized and didn’t seem prepared for sessions. The kicker was that “Chico”,the owner, dipped snuff and spit in any trash can he could find. Even the main trash can in the kitchen. But, he had a real problem with people using spit cups and would not allow anyone else to spit in the trash cans. Seems like a bit of a double standard.
