After that disaster, I told myself that I would practice for a year and by his 3rd birthday party (November of 2009), I'd know what I was doing. I read everything I could read, watched every video I could watch, and my mom and I even took the Wilton classes (our instructor, Jackie, was so kind and patient and truly made us excited about learning).
And I PRACTICED! I have to say. I was pretty impressed with that tractor cake. I have loved the creative freedom that making custom cakes allows. I waited over a year (and made several cakes) before I ever agreed to make someone's wedding cake.

Services
Whenever possible, we like to have at least 2 months notice (more if possible) for wedding cake orders. A 50% deposit is due when you place your order in order to secure your date on the calendar. The final payment is due when you pick up your cake. When possible, we will accept last minute orders (within 1 week of the pickup/delivery date) and charge a "rush baking" fee of $5 more per 1 dozen of cupcakes and $25 more per cake.

Just a little slice of heaven. When I arrived yesterday everyone in the place was buzzing. I looked at the head cake designer and her face had a light dusting of glitter. She was working on a cake that had a light blue glitter path along the top.
Their cupcakes are scrumptious although Like many of today's shops the style is to have lots and lots of icing on top of the cupcakes. I prefer little less and they will do that. Get orders in early.

Really good cupcakes. We have been here several times, and we just order what's available -- we have never placed an order for pickup. Anyhow, they cake is always a nice density, which seems to maintain moisture because I have never had a dry cupcake from here. I also really like their icing. The variety of flavors are nice, and the flavors really are spotlighted. I wish the hours we more friendly, but that is what it is. If you're in New Pal during their business, you should stop by for a cupcake or two ... or six.

I've seen plenty of wedding cakes that look good, but taste like garbage. Not only does her cakes look god, but taste even better! A couple of my favorite flavors are: black bottom, carrot, pumpkin, and red velvet.
You probably don't want to take someone's review of this business seriously from someone that 5 stars McDonald's, lol.

It's rare to have a business owner that is so aware in the personal impact that their business has on people. Especially in a cake business. We've had multiple cakes from Jovanna over the years and she's taken such an interest in doing it right for us and our celebration. It's like she's making the cake we would make for ourselves if we knew how! Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to go above and beyond for a party or event.

I LOVE this place! It is one of the best cake places I have ever been too. The cupcakes are amazing and the cakes are UNBELIEVABLE!!! I am in awe when I go in and see the cakes that are being made. I am in awe every time I go.
The staff is super friendly and make you feel like family when you come in. If you don't know what you want, they are really good at helping you make a selection.
The decor is cute and the facilities are so clean.
So if you ever find yourself hankering for a sweet treat, DEFINITELY go to The Cakehole and shove one in your mouth!

I ordered a custom cake for my grandma's 80th birthday and was amazed with the level of detail. I sent an idea and they went above and beyond. Everyone loved the cake especially the birthday girl! I would highly recommend The Cakehole and have already placed an order for my daughter's upcoming birthday!

I was really excited when this place opened! The hours made it impossible for me to get a cupcake from here. When I finally found a day where I could go, I was disappointed. My expectations were very high and the cupcakes just didn't quite meet them. The cupcakes were very dense and had too much really sweet icing on them. It's not the worst cupcakes I've ever had, but I'm more impressed by the Marsh Bakery. Also my friend got a cake pop from here and threw up.

If you've ever wanted a unique cake in Indiana, this is the place to go. She designs all sorts of things and the more over the top the more I think she likes to create it!
I recently had the S'mores cupcake and the Berry Lemonade Cupcake and couldn't stop there! The Oreo is awesome and a favorite seems to be the Black Bottom cupcake.
