Just recently had my car die out while on the road and needed it towed home. Called around a to a few different companies and finally was able to get a quick response from Tomatow. Ismael was the driver that picked up my vehicle. He was very courteous the entire experience and was very easy to talk to. When he was passing by on the other side of the road he gave me a little courtesy honk to let me know he was on the way. Vehicle was loaded onto a flat bed and driven very professionally to my home. He even was able to help me winch it down my steep driveway. The speed was great, the service excellent

People working here are extremely rude. I ask about a dent in my car that wasn't there before they took at and the guy at the front desk completely ignored me. I asked someone else and that person ignored me as well walking away. If you can just take your bussines elsewhere. Your car will be damaged and they will not take responsibility for it.

I found Jeremey and Tomatow through the Tesla Service Center in Elk Grove. They are one of Teslas preferred towing companies. I needed someone to tow my recently fixed car from the body shop in Elk Grove to my place in Indiana, about 80 miles. They did what they said they would in the time frame they thought it would take at a reasonable rate. Once here, I realized I had another job for them, to tow an antique to a shop in Chicago and they were flexible enough to accommodate which was great. Ismail the driver was a really good guy and Jeremy at HQ is very communicative. I'll be using them again

Had the vehicle towed less than a mile and I was charged $198.75!
When I initially spoke to a woman, Alix, I clearly heard her say on the phone it would be $98.00 for the tow. I approved my card to be charged for $98.00 and later I was called letting me know a payment of $198.75 had to be don't otherwise the vehicle would not be released.
I had absolutely no choice but to pay. This is how you scam people. I told ALIX she should have been more clear on the phone and confirm the amount with people and make sure to say it clear since she excuses the extra charge for me mistakenly

WORST TOWING SERVICE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. LIARS AND CHEATER. I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS QUOTED A CERTAIN PRICE, TOLD THE PERSON THAT THE CAR DIDN'T RUN AND IT WAS IN A DRIVEWAY, TO FIND OUT THAT THEY CHARGED MY CARD ADDITIONAL FEES THAT I NEVER AUTHORIZED. I WOULD HAVE NEVER HAD THEM TOW THE CAR KNOWING THE OUTCOME. IF YOU NEED A TOW CALL SOME ELSE. THESE PEOPLE ARE LESS THEN HONEST.

I am not, have never been, and hopefully will never be a Tomatow customer.
I wrote and mailed a check to a company that I do business with in Bensenville (call this Company A). Somehow, Tomatow (also in Bensenville) got a hold of the check, endorsed it with Company A's name, and deposited it to Tomatow's Bank of Itasca account. Company A confirmed that they always endorse with a stamp (my check's endorsement was handwritten) and certainly did not endorse the check over to Tomatow.

Where do I start? First of all, this was my FIRST time ever calling a towing company to pick up my car that wouldn't start. Mind you, I'm at work and needed it towed to my father-in-laws asap, before the police got a hold of it. I spoke to the receptionist there and asked, "how much do you charge to tow a car?" She responded, "$4 a mile." (Which was cheaper than the $60 I was going to pay for another towing company). I thought that was very cheap since it only had to be moved about 5 min away. I was driving down 290 in the middle of the night when my car just suddenly seized up. I couldn't get it to start again and I was afraid to get out of the car since it was the highway. I called my husband to come get me but I couldn't just leave the car there overnight until the repair shop could take a look at it, so I looked up the nearest auto towing company on my phone and within no time the tow truck driver was there to take my car away. He was so fast that he even beat my husband there and was nice enough to let me wait in his tow truck until my husband arrived.
