Water Mission
We build safe water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions in developing nations and disaster areas. Water Mission is a member of a consortium led by The Aquaya Institute that has been awarded a five-year, $18.9 million Cooperative Agreement from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the Rural Evidence and Learning for Water (REAL-Water) program.

REAL-Water will evaluate strategies for expanding access to safe and sustainable rural water across the developing world. Water Mission Partners with UNICEF to Author New Solar-Powered Water Systems Design and Installation Guide. Water Mission collaborated with UNICEF to design a first-of-its-kind resource for implementing solar powered water systems in rural communities.
Services
We are a team of builders. As engineers, marketers, implementers, fundraisers, volunteers and donors, each of us is building an important piece of a solution that lasts. Each engineering plan, pipe fitting, and installation is a piece of a solution that God is using to place communities around the world back to where He intended them to be.
In 1998, our founders, Molly and George Greene, were operating an environmental engineering company in Charleston, South Carolina when they heard about the devastation in Honduras caused by Hurricane Mitch.

After receiving a request for multiple water treatment systems in Honduras, and being unable to find existing systems that would work, George and his team of engineers took action to build such a system - and thus the idea for Water Missions International was born. When the Greenes arrived in Honduras, they were shocked by what they found.
We believe collaboration and partnership among industry leaders are critical to solving the global water crisis. Together, we can achieve transformational scale and end water poverty as quickly as possible. Water Mission seeks to serve as a resource to other development partners in their mission to achieve universal and equitable access to safe and affordable drinking water by offering equipment, technologies, and consulting services.

We design, build, and implement safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas. We have 400 staff members around the world in permanent country programs combating the world's water scarcity crisis, using innovative technology and engineering expertise to break through the global water crisis.

Water Mission does great humanitarian work on each continent, seeking to help those who are most desperate to have save drinking water. They have and continue to make an enormous impact on the lives of many, including those who are affected by natural disasters. May God continue to bless their efforts!

If you’ve ever worried about giving money to or serving a good cause, look no further. This ministry is the real deal. They do an excellent job loving on those who are in need of clean water. They served over 400,000 people last year with plans to do more in the years to come. This is definitely a God thing. Stop by and see about the short tour they have that shows the work they do. You will be amazed!

Love Walk For Water and the goal to provide clean water for people who don't have direct access to it.
Water Mission continues to make this their mission and I'm glad I get to be a part of helping in that effort.

What a great thing! Local non-profit who provides clean water solutions both stateside and abroad. Many third world countries are so much better off due to the interventions of Water Mission. Reducing the death rates and spread of disease, all while providing good, clean drinking water. Really, what more can you ask for? I know...third world problems. We just don't know how good we have it here in the states. Anyway, I digress.

This company was started by a couple who felt compelled to help the world. They operated an environmental engineering company and started Water Mission almost
