If a Client Portal account is created and an individual has not requested an appointment within a couple weeks of account creation, the account will be archived due to inactivity.
Consultation calls are available for prospective clients or their parent(s)/guardian(s) to discuss the individual's summary of concerns. Guidance, helpful resources, and referrals may be provided so that the caller and/or (prospective) client may be best supported. Individual counseling (also interchangeably referred to as therapy or psychotherapy) is a one-to-one meeting with your counselor to discuss your concerns.
The State of Florida includes mental health/mental illness as a disability which may qualify for special accommodations. An assessment may be conducted to identify the aspects of life which are impacted by mental health, and potential reasonable accommodations which may make access to education, the workplace, or housing more equitable.
Session rates are the same as in-person rates, as it is the same quality of counseling, only the delivery is different. Rebecca Stone, LMHC is currently an in-network provider with Aetna, Cigna, Lyra Health, and Magellan Behavioral Health. Many insurance plans cover online counseling. Please call your insurance company before your first online counseling session to ensure your plan covers online counseling.
