Francis J. Collins Funeral Home, Inc. has been faithfully serving families of Greater Washington since 1939. We are honored to be a part of the rich history of this community and plan to continue serving the community for future generations. Native Washingtonians, Francis and Catharine Collins founded the Francis J. Collins Funeral Home in their home on 14th Street Northwest, Washington, DC.
We will work with your family to select a day and time within the next day or so for the funeral arrangement conference. When a loved one dies at home or in a place that is not a healthcare facility, you will need to contact emergency personnel before we are authorized to take them into our care. If your loved one was under medical care, it is a good idea to call their physician.

Francis Collins Funeral Home handled my husband's funeral. All the staff, especially Terry, were professional, kind, and understanding. We did a quick funeral, actually 2 days after he passed and they had everything together. The web site was up almost immediately. All questions we had were also handled immediately. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them and I would highly recommend them.

Extremely professional and most importantly, empathetic and attentive to my family's needs. We worked with Rick, who had the best customer service. He seemed to actually care about the loss of our father and made the planning process very simple--exactly what we needed during this difficult time. He was very attentive to our family's needs and was extremely supportive during the entire process. Definitely recommend.
