Cupping therapy is an ancient Chinese form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin; Chinese Medicine believes cupping can mobilizes Chi and blood flow in order to promote healing. Dry cupping (or just call cupping) suction is created using heat (fire) or hand pumps. Through either heat or suction, the skin is gently drawn upwards by creating a vacuum in a cup over the target area of the skin.
Moxibustion is a Trditional Chinese Medical therapy using mugwort herb. There are various moxibustion techniques. Here we only practice the indirect moxibustion. In indirect moxibustion, a practitioner lights one end of a mugwort stick (roughly the shape and size of a cigar) and holds it an inch or two away from the acupoint area, or around the inserted needles to bring mild warmth to the area without burning, until the skin becomes slightly red.

Nice and effective! I got my back pain fixed many times by Dr. Li. Didn't have time to visit her for a long time. Now my back pain came back again because I sit at my computer desk for too long every day. I need to visit her again with lots of confidence. Sometimes I have to drive all the way from Dublin to Hayward to see her.
