Attorney Lorin Zaner's general philosophy which he has carried out over 40+ years of law practice is that trial preparation is critical to any successful litigation, whether it be civil or criminal. In criminal cases, Lorin strives hard to defend a client based on the legal and factual significance of each case.
As a Toledo criminal defense lawyer, Attorney Zaner's role is to make sure the client understands what we are doing and why it is being done. We listen to the client and discuss their ideas and we are well aware that clients need to trust me and respect me. I try to earn that respect and trust with every client.

Dealing with Child Protective Services (CPS) workers can be intimidating and stressful, especially when your family's future is in question. Being accused of harming your own child is an overwhelming experience, especially when it seems like the system is against you from the beginning. In these situations, you need a staunch legal advocate who is not afraid to stand up to CPS and fight for your rights.

I would not recommend Mr Zaner to represent you in a divorce case. He is a man of few words and offers very little insight into the nuances of dealing with family law issues. He is also overpriced for the services he provides.
After my final mediation I left thinking my ex wife and I had come to an agreement only to realize that what was drafted in the court order by my ex wife's attorney did not correspond with what was discussed during mediation. Before signing the final order, I fought tooth and nail to amend the issues and spent many hours writing emails demonstrating that in fact we had not

Didn't help with family law. And tried to resign. When I felt he wasn't helping my cause. More and more people that I talk to about him give a bad rap. For a father like me and I care for my kids he doesn't consider any evidence you have for your cause. But all lawyer are money hungry but this one takes the cake.
