Dakotaland Transportation, Inc. was founded in January of 2000 in Sioux Falls, SD. We are a 48 state contract carrier operating under authority granted by the federal Department of Transportation, permit number 369955. As a company, we are dedicated to providing safe, reliable and professional service to our customers.
The company was originally formed for exclusive transportation of Showplace Wood Products, a producer of all your kitchen and bath cabinet needs. Dakotaland also transports refrigerated products for John Morrell & Co, a Sioux Falls meat packer. Although the company may seem very young, the experience behind it is second to none.

I sit here and did my end and did all my paperwork got all my stuff filled out the dispatch lady has told me for two months now call me Monday well guess what I'm not calling anymore from what I hear it is a forced dispatch you either jump on it or you won't see any work at me personally I have seen none so unless you know someone there do not waste your time with doing any paperwork for these people

Not good people to pull for. Was with them for 3 years. Forced dispatch or sit and make no money. They take 20% of your stop pay and you tailgate all there freight. If you have your own authority and base plate and insurance you get no fuel card. So make sure you have your own fuel account setup someplace before you go there. In 3 years I only averaged 113000 miles a year.
