Robert's Antiques has been in operation since 1969, founded by Robert Sauer. After several moves, Robert came back to the Phoebus section of Hampton moving into 26 E. Mellen St. which was built in 1874. It was originally the Kaiser Meat Market, then Kaiser Hardware. For many years Mugler's Clothing store operated in this location.

Laura, Robert's daughter, and her husband, Jeff, took over the operation in 2005. We have a wide variety of merchandise for sale, and we buy all types of antiques including furniture, jewelry, gold, silver and collectibles.

I really enjoyed going into this store and checking out all of the interesting pieces they have. The staff wasn’t rude and it wasn’t disorganized. I will be coming back when I have more time to look around.

Great selection of antiques. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent jewelry and even a few swords and knives.
