Our music teachers at our Santa Clara and Redwood City music schools are all university-trained with tons of performing experience. Not only that, California Conservatory of Music instructors are friendly, professional, and dedicated to learning about your musical goals in order to help you achieve them.
We have three children taking lessons at the California Conservatory of Music - ages 5, 7 and 10. Each child started in pre-school. It is truly amazing how the CCM can work with children at such young ages and consistently teach them how to play so well. The program is amazing - individual lessons, group lessons, small group and large group performances and parental involvement.
The California Conservatory of Music is the Bay Area's leading music school. We currently have locations in Sunnyvale and Redwood City and are searching for a full-time office manager to work with the directors of the school, the office managers, and our other staff. The ideal candidate is a clear and effective communicator who feels comfortable talking with kids and parents, has good excel skills, and is an independent worker.

We just enrolled our 5 years old boy to violin lessons 2 weeks ago and we had a very bad experience with the violin "teacher". I don't know her name because she never told us, she has no patience, my kid never has music lessons before but he was careful listened to teacher the parts of the violins etc etc ( at first class basically kids just learn about the instrument, position, fingers, everything was al right my kid was so happy and after 25 minutes she recommend we should choose a easier instrument like piano and guitar... So I Was naive at this time and I switched my kid to piano and here we

Both of my girls enjoy their music lessons at CCM. During the pandemic, the teachers were able to transition right away to ZOOM lessons and my girls continued their classes from home. We appreciate all the work the teachers and staff have put in to continue the classes. Music helped our family get through this tough time. We can't wait to go back in-person.

Both of my children have taken to music and from the start we've been with The California Conservatory of Music. In the first case, we were looking for a female guitar instructor for my daughter. We got a wonderful instructor and a true teacher-student friendship which continues even now as our daughter's teacher has moved on from teaching but has chosen to stick with our daughter. Both my kids have enjoyed taking Guitar lessons with Alexandria this year. Even though, they have very little time to practice, their teacher is very patient and cont to work with them.
Also, the two owners and the office staff are so receptive to the kids and their families! We are so appreciate for welcoming our kids.

Our daughter, Alexandra has been studying classical guitar for many years. She enjoys coming to lessons , performing at recitals and the annual concert. She also recently started the piano for older kids. The guitar and piano teachers are very passionate and competent teaching the children. Highly recommended!
