My car is was making a thunder-like noise every time I brake and I was recommended to RC Hi-Tech. The best decision ever! For me personally, it has been difficult to find a shop that makes me feel comfortable or provides me honest feedbacks. I had a hunch to give RC Hi-Tech a shot. And just like that, they determined the issues, got it fixed and I was out of there! I'm a very happy customer and will be be back again! Give them a shot and plus you'll have Tobe and Rolo to keep you company if you decide to wait for your vehicle :)

Recently got my car worked on here, was told I had an oil leak. Which I expected due to the symptoms I searched on google. Get it fix, thinking my car is fine. 4 days go by, I'm getting back from my night class at Cal State Fullerton. Oil was splatted all over the place under my hood, which lead to smoke from underneath the hood. I go back to see what's wrong, and was told nothing was wrong with the car. A week later my check engine light came on, took it in. Was told again nothing was wrong with my car. JUST last night, I come back from my night class. Same problem occurred. Oil splashed

Jonathan and his crew are absolute professionals. Never have I felt like I've been upsold for no reason and all their work has continued to keep the cars in my family fleet at 100%. I just want to say thank you for getting my Brake and Light inspection completed. I've been in the process of getting this done on my 1965 VW Bug. You made the inspection process easy. This is the most cleanest organized car shop ever in south long beach. The most reasonable shop prices ever in south long beach for those who want to save money on a very excellent work done, you will not be going back again for the same problem. The mechanics are very very smartest mechanics i ever seen beside sonny. They definitely know what they are doing and get the job very well done to your expectation!

It was just by chance that I stumbled upon this business. I'm so happy I did! It's family owned and the service is excellent. I went in for a smog check and the mechanics also informed me of some things that required my attention. I'm not savvy when it comes to automotive parts, but all my questions were answered and explained in a way that helped me understand clearly before making any decisions. I felt comfortable and at ease knowing there were no surprises, just up front information. Thank you again for the great experience!

I been coming to Johnathan at RC Hi-Tech for years now. He's done smog checks on my cars, oil changes, transmission fluid changes, and the brakes. One of the cars that wasn't passing smog he he signed us up for the CA assistance program and I only paid the remaining amount. The car later passed the smog with repairs he made. His honest and is reasonably priced.

I've gone to them with several cars for several reasons. Smog check, oil changes, maintenance work, diagnoses...you name it. Jonathan is great with communication and is very clear on his pricing for parts and labor. I will continue going to them for more work.
Update February 2020. I’ve come to this shop for multiple reasons in my 2010 Evo. He’s done my routine maintenance, belt services, even a clutch job when my shift fork failed on me. The techs here do top quality work at very fair pricing. I have recommended this shop before and will continue to do so.

Absolutely great repair shop! I brought my car in because I thought it had some battery issues that were draining it. Jonathan tried everything to diagnose it, even letting it sit for a few days in the lot (at my request), but couldn't find anything. He said to bring it back if there were any issues in the future. That might sound bad, but the fact that he didn't charge me for the effort, whereas other shops I spoke to would have charged $100+, definitely has me convinced that this is the shop for me! 100% I'll be coming back.

Just drove in without an appointment to have our 22 year old BMW smog checked.. They went way above and beyond the call of duty, checked the tire pressure, filled us up with air and gave us windshield washer fluid. On top of that they have a really cute friendly dog to play with while you're waiting for your car :)

If your looking for a honest trustworthy mechanic shop come here!!! I came across RC High tech due to my radiator hose rupturing on my way home and they were the closes to me. As soon as I pulled in Jonathan attended to me and had my car fixed within an hr and a half.
For YEARS my AC would smell like fumes whenever I would turn it on. I've been to over 5 shops to try to fix the problem and it always ended the same "I don't smell nothing your car is fine". Since I was already there due to my radiator problem I thought I'd give it another try to see if they can figure out

I came for a smog check and also had my engine light on. Jonathan, ran an assessment using a device to determine what error codes the car had. He immediately suggested I replace the oxygen sensor. I agreed and asked if I could leave my car and that I would pick it up a few days later when the parts
