More than 60 years ago, Stu Ashurst, Sr. opened a small shop re-manufacturing transmissions. His process allowed for quick transmission exchanges, so his customers could avoid having to wait for their transmissions to be repaired. Since that time, Stu's AE Transmission has become the area's premier and trusted transmission re-manufacturer.
While transmissions are a substantial part of our business and we pride ourselves on the meticulous work we do repairing and rebuilding them, at Stu's AE Transmission, we possess the knowledge and expertise to diagnose any problem and repair or replace any component on any car, both foreign and domestic models.
We perform warranty work on a wide variety of makes and models. If your car is still under warranty, bring it in to us, and we'll work with the manufacturer to aid in your repairs. The clutch in your vehicle regulates the transfer of power from your engine to your transmission. Because of the way the clutch is designed to function and the amount of stress it sustains during operation of your vehicle, parts of it wear out over time. A worn clutch can significantly degrade the performance of your car, so it's important to get it serviced when required.
A differential allows the wheels of your car to rotate at different speeds, typically by using a set of gears. Without a functioning differential, your car would not be able to turn without forcing some of the tires to lose traction. Differentials are also frequently used to increase the safety of your vehicle in slippery road conditions.

I took my car in on a Tuesday, & had my car back by Friday. Any other shop would have kept my car for over a week at least. I had to get my car fixed up before I moved to Arizona & the amazing crew at Stu’s worked so hard to get me my car in time. Stu & Jake both will take great care of you & will explain everything they do so that (if you’re like me & have no car knowledge) it’s easy to understand. Women get preyed upon everyday by skeezy shop owners, but the crew at Stu’s goes above & beyond to make sure you are taken care of & never conned
