Mannino's Market is a family owned business, passed down through four generations and counting. In the late 1920s, Phillip and Josephine Mannino founded Mannino's Market in Ferguson, Missouri. Their son and his wife, Tony and Betty, took over the business by the mid 1940's. The store was known then as Day and Night Market.
One face that was always recognizable was Betty Mannino, known to most as Grandma. You would most commonly find her watching over the pie case, although you didn't notice her standing behind it until you walked up close! Everyone loved to listen to her thick Italian accent while she gave directions.

Mannino's has some of the best meats in St. Charles and I have been going there since they opened in 1998 but recently the pricing issue has been going beyond reasonable. Just a year ago the Ribeye's were $12.99 per pound, they are now $22.00 a pound. I love their brownies which again are some of the best around but again a month or or so ago they were $3.98 for 4ea, the next time I went to buy them a month later they were $6.26 for 4ea. I realize there are shortages with Covid but I simply can no longer afford to shop there. I will miss you

Love this place. They have such great desserts and their deli and meat counters are terrific. People are so friendly, it reminds me of the market in the small town where my grandmother loved 40 or 50 years ago. The sandwiches at the deli are so much better than your typical sandwich places. Not that you care, but my favorite is the Godfather.

We shop at the Flint Hill location since we live in Wentzville! Love this market! Reminds me of my country store back home, so friendly and has that small hometown feeling! 💕 And, all of the products are amazing! Trust me we have had everything! I highly recommend this market and promise you will not be disappointed!

After lunch across the street from 1798 on February 25, 2020, Big Sis, her hubs and I came to explore at this amazing market.
But it's more than a market.
They have already been here many times before, predominantly getting steaks, meats and other butcher cuts.
I walked in for the first time and saw so many homemade cakes, pies and pastries immediately to the right. Beautiful presentations of these wonderful confections.
OK . . . on to the store. The vegetables were abundant and fresh and well-priced. The aisles were well-stocked.
A lot of spices on the end-caps.
The focus was the butcher

Seriously the best meat market in St. Charles County and I'm not just saying that because I've known the family for 41 years. Check out the line for the meat counter and that should convince you. Other than meat, they have a decent selection basic fruit & veg, canned & dry goods to help you avoid the large grocery chain crowds. Another highlight are their fresh homemade pies and their Italian specialties both in the freezer section and in the aisles along with a limited, but thoughtful wine & alcohol selection, and STL made items. I highly recommend this market. The only drawback

Just picked up an order from Maninos Meat Market. Been a shopper here for years. These folks are the BEST. Always go out of their way to be helpful and courteous. Very special Thanks to Anita who went the extra steps to get me what I needed today. You are appreciated!! It's good to support local businesses plus getting exceptional quality meat. You can't go wrong.
