Services
Beginning therapy to overcome your mental health challenges can feel overwhelming. Like anything, recovery takes time, but the right treatment approach will help you gain relief from your symptoms and add quality to your life.

At The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester(MHCGM), we use an approach called Evidence-Based Practice in which extensive research is used to indicate the most appropriate treatments for specific mental health diagnoses. It is a recovery-oriented approach by which we are able to provide the right care, at the right time, in the right setting.
Unexpected life circumstances and economic issues all-too-often leave those who need help unable to cover the cost of their mental health care. By supporting mental health services, you allow us to provide mental health care for children, adolescents and adults in their time of need.

Supporting mental health services helps to broaden the public understanding of how common mental illness is, knowledge that reduces stigmas often associated with mental health problems. We believe everyone deserves to enjoy mental wellness and not struggle in silence. Your support provides an opportunity for others to take steps towards achieving mental wellness and elevating quality of life.
Mental health is just as important to well-being as physical health. In fact, they intertwine. However, oftentimes individuals feel stigma related to mental illness, and this perception can make it hard to take the first step in seeking help. Everyone deserves to feel healthy in both body and mind.
If you sprain an ankle or come down with the flu, getting medical treatment is a no-brainer. Unlike physical ailments, however, mental illness is frequently misunderstood, and those suffering often fear judgement. This is called stigma, and it can keep people from seeking help. At The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, we treat mental health with the same importance as physical health, and celebrate the courage it takes to ask for help.
Mental health issues can affect anyone, at any age. Like other illnesses, mental health problems must be diagnosed and treated for you to get back to your life and your relationships. We offer highly-accessible mental health counseling services and programs for individuals and families aimed at putting you on a path to wellness.

I was administered here back in July 2021 as a result of the hospital I originally went to for help not having a psych ward themselves. Here's a good question to ask, when a consular is dealing someone that is brought to their breaking point by highly toxic/mentally abusive family members (To the point where they want to kill themselves) what is something you SHOULD NOT SAY to them? If you guessed "go sleep in a tent on the outskirts of the city and abandon whatever goals in life you still have left cause you can't afford a place of your own", you get a gold star! Also, if you follow it up with

I do not understand why this place has therapists that work after hours (either remotely or in the community) but their offices are only open until 5, and their "answering service" won't page anyone... all they can do is leave a message for the therapist, which they won't receive until the office opens in the morning.
Totally useless if you're having an issue logging into Telehealth online or if you need to communicate with your therapeutic mentor who is en route to your home. Beyond frustrating.
Three stars are for the actual therapists, who seem like pretty good people, if tied up by a bit

What a joke this place is. Case manager seems disorganized. Falsified information in my records. Poor management of client's cases, and unprofessional staff. I will not be using this agency any longer.

Treatment based 100% on medication.I had hope they are helping people learn to manage emotions and teaching how to manage emotional stress. But its not ….choices of services is very limited. The managers are not respectful for the costumers. The choice of time for the appointments is very limited, just ones a week on the phone, and its doesn’t make any sense but costs you a lot of money. You can get much more good information from books and other people. The price is too much money for the phone conversation ones a week or phone conversation using the computer screen. The business office and

Wow for a business in mental health there not there for me , my primary care provider recommended me to call them. I called and reached some call center that was connected to them. Seems there too busy with others????Took them 6 days to call me back it…. Went to my voicemail I called right back just to get back in que for scheduling. I should have read these awful reviews first. The kicker is a lot of us are struggling mentally and weak to reach out for help especially when we need help . But to be stuck on a phone tag to be heard is even more depressing.

The cypress counseling center is the absolute worst place to seek help for mental health. They are incompetent, unreliable and quite frankly disrespectful to the people that seek their assistance. It’s a useless money making SCAM!
Shame on you for taking advantage of citizens that really need help.
Do NOT send your loved ones to this fraudulent, incompetent joke of a ‘mental health’ center.

The Mental Health Center provides great care. The admin staff are helpful and the counselors are highly skilled. If my counselor is out for a day, there is always someone that reaches out if I need someone. The nurses and medical assistants are very caring and help me stay on track with my medications.

You get a lot of attitude when you just ask simple questions. Some counselors are worth the $80 to see, while others are a waste of time. To get prescriptions you have to go every other week before being able to see a "provider". Which, if you have a job and don't qualify for Medicare, comes to a bill of over $300 per month. I switched to another office and pay $30 per 3 month visit. Don't think your options are limited.
