Like many non-profit healthcare organizations, we face constant shifts in State or Federal funding and Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements. At the same time, many of our programs and service are not reimbursable and are supported entirely by external funding sources. As a result, the charitable support from individuals, businesses, and private foundations like you is critical.
We offer highly competitive salaries and benefits, including health, dental, generous paid time off, holidays, life and disability insurance, as well as a substantial 403b match for starting immediately for new employees. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability or protected veteran status.
Our greater mission and purpose is to support our greater community's mental health and wellbeing. In doing so, our talented and expert staff of therapists, outreach specialists, and other community support staff have created educational and supportive videos on a wealth of mental, physical and emotional health topics.

I’m under the care of Ellen McFarland, and after seeing an array of people since 2003, I can say that she is the best therapist I’ve ever seen. She is so realistic, talks to me instead of down, and uses my language, instead of quotes from a book. I can change the office environment at anytime. I’ve sat on the floor for an entire session and she’ll sit low as to not break eye contact. She’s absolutely wonderful, with a great sense of humor

This place is horrible! My daughter goes to this agency and I’ve tried contacting her new therapist who goes by “mimi” on multiple occasions and for months! This woman has ignored my calls and has never returned my calls. I dealt with the same thing with my daughter’s previous therapist too. I’ll be contacting the licensing board about this woman. She’s unprofessional, bias and should not be behind a therapist’s desk. I’m fed up with this place beyond belief. I hope she loses her job for being this ignorant and unprofessional.

So far my experience with them has been overall negative. During covid what you have to do is start calling at 8am to try your luck at snagging an appointment that same day. I called at 8:30 one morning on a whim hoping for a miraculous opening and actually got an appointment. I went with my 4 year old son, because I’m a mother and my husband was working. When I walked in the woman at the front desk first looked at my son like he was carrying smallpox and then asked if the appointment was “for you or...?” I told her it was for me. She said “it’s just that we don’t allow children in

Perhaps for a mild case of worry, or if you need a counselor to talk to to get over some grief there may be some value. For real cases they are unwilling and ill-equipped. It takes over two and a half months after being accepted before you can even meet with "a prescriber" to review whether the prescriptions your last care provider gave you are helping or hurting. Asinine. Something that should be in the best interests of both parties to have happen on the first visit they make you wait months for. Won't see you more than once a week. Advertises as a team approach care solution, at best you're

Edit: I can't believe both their locations are still standing. Therapist gave me a hard time for wanting to switch to another provider. I saw her for nearly six months before I made that decision, which means I did not make it lightly. I know my med provider will break up with me soon because she went from full- to part-time, so ya, I know she's on her way out like most everyone else who works there. One receptionist gave me a hard time because I came in wanting to know if I could get a refill of samples...you are the front lines of the agency, just do your job by figuring out if I can get them

I spent many years being treated at Seacoast. I loved the quality of care I received. The staff actually cares about their patients and doesn't just treat someone as a dollar sign. They take the time to address your issues so proper treatment can be administered. They take notice of the details. Not just the big picture. I took for granted the mental health care I received while living in NH. Since I moved to FL I have received little to no care at all. I severely miss Seacoast and their care. I wish they could put an office where I live now. I would suggest Seacoast for mental health. They are

I called office because my back hurt so bad that I could not drive to Portsmouth office, they have you go to office just to fill your prescription, and charge $$, I called at 8:15am and is now 4:40 pm and have heard nothing, now after reading what I will go through if I suddenly stop meds, could be dangerous, what kind of doctor would do this? One staff member told me that I can't get my prescriptions filled unless I go to the office, so I guess they really don't care if you end up with sezures or even death

The only experience I have had with this organization is a supervisor in the administrative area named Marie. She was incredibly rude to myself and the other person I was with. I do not know how this organization treats people outside of this engagement, but I would never want to deal with this woman ever again.
