Acute Injury Massage
A licensed massage therapist since 2001, I specialize in an integrated form of massage therapy that combines multiple techniques to meet my client's needs. I work on muscles, as well as tendons, ligaments, organs, joints, bones, the brain and the nervous system. Knowing your own body and finding the right people to support your journey toward health by offering excellent and effective care, is transformative.

It enriches our lives by increasing movement and fluidity and adds renewed vibrancy to everyday living by decreasing unnecessary pain and discomfort. That's why I do what I do.
Services
A licensed massage therapist (LMT) since 2001, I specialize in an integrated form of massage therapy that combines multiple techniques to meet my client's needs. I work on muscles, as well as tendons, ligaments, organs, joints, bones, the brain and the nervous system - types of massage therapy I offer include Myofascial, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral Therapy, and Brain Therapy.
For instance, I often incorporate Deep Tissue and Swedish massage into my sessions, but I choose not to detail them since they are more commonly known types of massage. The list below reflects my primary modalities and serves to broaden knowledge about what therapies exist and what they treat. I encourage my clients to think about their body holistically when exploring possibilities for treatment.
The conditions listed highlight the ones most commonly treated in my practice. While the list can inform you what may be possible for your particular situation, there are infinite conditions, areas, treatment and recovery plans that can benefit from massage therapy (eg., Carpal Tunnel or Thoracic Outlet syndromes).
Stress is a factor in five out of the six leading causes of death: heart disease, cancer, stroke, lower respiratory disease, and accidents. Your massage or bodywork session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room. Soft music may be played to help you relax. You will tuck yourself under and sheet and blanket, on a heated table especially designed for your comfort.
Before your first appointment, please complete your profile (including medical, insurance and type of condition/s). Cancellation Policy: 24-hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24-hours advance notice you will be charged the full amount of your appointment.

Pete has "taken care of" so many things in my complicated body. I put that in quotations because, as others have said, his methods are not the usual kneading massage you would get from other therapists. I have a brain injury and I am an athlete. I have headaches like you would not believe. Pete has helped with those and many other "things" that I didn't realize were making me hurt. I highly recommend him.

I went with open mind and Peter did an amazing work. He even asked me some questions relating to my childhood injury and how it will influence other areas in the body. After my session, I felt lighter. For follow up appointment, Peter told me to come back after three weeks.

I went to see Pete 4 weeks after a delicate breast surgery. I was afraid of having a massage so soon after the surgery, but all my worries dissipated after the massage started. From the first appointment, I knew I had found a great therapist to help me heal. Pete is a gifted therapist and makes sure you don't feel any pain during treatment. His technique is gentle yet powerful, and I felt relieved from day one! He wasn't only able to help me with the surgery-related issues but also other areas of my body where I have had tensions for years. Sometimes, we experience pain and tension in our bodies

Pete is amazing. It's not your standard massage, so get ready. He has such high level knowledge of the body and it's pretty amazing what he does. Do know that it is not standard massage, but you will not be disappointed!

Pete is the real deal when it comes to massage. The service he provides with his magical hands is bar none. He specializes in lymphatic massage and is super educated in his field. He even teaches as part of his practice. I felt rejuvenated, relaxed and felt a reduction in inflammation after visiting with him just once. I highly recommend Pete!
