In collaboration with Well Connected Twin Cities, I have created an on demand class that you can purchase for $30. This will outline the basic principals of somatic exploration & breathwork, and it's a perfect way to get a peek at what our work together may feel like. You can also check out this podcast episode where I was interviewed about my approach to healing.

In my eyes, healing is about being on a journey of seeking and uncovering our true and loving nature, while discovering and letting go of the veils that have gotten in the way of accessing this. I have a passion for working with clients who understand that the mind, body, heart and soul are deeply connected, and are curious about integrating healing from all angles.
Breathwork can be a profound tool to support our bodies in releasing what no longer serves us while creating more capacity for rest, creativity and deeper self love. This particular type of breathwork has roots in South Asian medicine and is derived from the pranayama breath.
It is a conscious, connected breath meditation where we actively breathe to increase the oxygen in our nervous system to help move overwhelming, stagnant or suppressed emotions and energy that may be held in our bodies. As a body-based therapist, I love geeking out about the nervous system impact of breathwork!

Somatic Experiencing (SE) is an approach to healing overwhelming or traumatic experiences and their impact on the body. In this approach, the therapist creates a safe space for the client's nervous system to explore what it may need to gain an expanded ability to tolerate distress while releasing trauma and suppressed emotions that have been stored in the body.
I have a special passion for working with people pre and post surgery to support the nervous system while lessening the possible impact of surgical trauma and overwhelm. My goal in this work is to help my clients feel more at ease and empowered as they approach surgery by providing education and skills to calm and support the nervous system.
For those seeking a more creative approach, you will be guided in exploring the subconscious where symbols, images, and metaphor may reveal deeper insights and meaning. This is done through creating a word in a tray of sand using a variety of miniature objects, symbols, animals and/or characters.
Together we will hold an atmosphere of curiosity as you explore strengths & resources, barriers you may be facing, and possible solutions you may be seeking.
