When you're choosing an orthodontic treatment provider, you should feel comfortable with the orthodontist, the staff, the treatment approach and the financial payment terms and options. At DuClos Orthodontics, we place high value on our relationship with patients and their families, and that impacts all of our policies.
Orthodontic treatment is different based on how your teeth are developing. Different approaches are taken based on whether your teeth are still coming in, or if they've fully developed. We offer a variety of treatments that are designed for different age groups - including adults! It's never too late to begin your journey to having that healthy smile.
A habit appliance helps stop certain repeated body motions (habits). Some correctors help stop tongue thrusting (pressing the tongue against the front teeth) while others correct finger and thumb sucking. These habits can adversely affect the bite and change the position of your teeth and growing jaws.
Braces are a big deal. Getting used to how they look and feel takes time. Figuring out how to brush and floss takes effort. Our team will make sure you have the right information and tools to help you keep your teeth clean and healthy, and to handle any problems you might encounter while wearing braces.
When you are wearing braces, you may encounter small discomfort, broken appliances or - rarely - more serious problems. There are strategies you can use at home to address some of the more common problems. If you do have an orthodontic emergency (extreme pain, swelling, bleeding, or an accident), call our office.

Dr. Duclos is amazing, my kids love him. He is always available and if there is an emergency he makes himself available! Our little guy was playing football and took an elbow to the mouth and ended up knocking off his front brackets. Dr. Duclos came in on the weekend when the office was closed to fix his braces. I highly recommend Dr Duclos!! Best in the valley 👍

We have been working with Dr. Duclos and his staff for at least 5-6 years. We have always got fast friendly service. They work with our busy mom life schedules when making appointments. They also give discounts the more family members you bring in. The girls they have working are so friendly and up beat. Their always smiling! We have never had a bad experience. ❤️
