Dr. Copeland completed her Bachelors of Science in Biology at Boston College graduating cum laude. She received her Doctor of Optometry (OD) from the Illinois College of Optometry graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Copeland completed a low vision rehabilitation residency at Salus University in Philadelphia and received her fellowship (FAAO) from the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Copeland strongly believes in the importance of preventive eye care. A comprehensive eye examination is essential for maintaining good vision and ocular health. A comprehensive eye examination usually involves a vision check, glasses update, ocular health evaluation, and dilation. InfantSEE is a national program where enrolled eye doctors provide eye examinations to infants before their first birthday at no charge.
Dr. Copeland is dedicated to making sure that your eyes are feeling and seeing their best. Unfortunately, many people feel they just have to deal with issues that we can work to correct. If you have dry eyes, this eye care clinic may be right for you. Anyone with permanent reduced vision is visually impaired, and can have a wide range of problems.
Dry eye is a very common condition with symptoms ranging from mild to severe. Dr. Copeland wants to make sure your eyes are feeling and seeing their best with dry eye treatment services. Dry eye is caused by an inadequate tear layer. Your tear layer sits on the surface of your eye. It keeps your eye moist, provides protect and nutrients, and allows you to see clearly.
Anyone with permanent reduced vision is visually impaired, and can have a wide range of problems that require low vision services. A low vision evaluation focuses on how the patient is functioning with his current level of sight. This evaluation complements the care the patient is already receiving from his eye specialist who is managing the patient's sight reducing condition.

Dr. Copeland was wonderful to work with! It was my daughter's first time getting glasses and Dr. Copeland was incredibly helpful with offering lots of different frames that were kid friendly and stylish. She made the process incredibly easy and enjoyable! Would definitely recommend the practice to anyone and everyone!
