After you reach an agreement with one of our estimators, your paperwork is begun at the office. Next, and we take pride in telling you this, we send out a professional draftsman to measure your property and thus ensure accuracy and mistake free work. We utilize this procedure to catch any oversights that may have occurred.
That depends on several variables, including the size of the pool, the landscape and the time of year. Most of our jobs take six to 10 weeks to complete. The permitting process can extend the project time (start of construction) depending on the city or county you live in. The pool size can be customized to fit most if not all backyard spaces.

It's been almost 12 months since we signed the contract ( during COVID 19 time ) and was well assured by sale executive to get the work done in 4-5 months max . First it took almost 6 months to get the approval from the city with the plan ( partial delay from city ) but also because of inaccurate / completeness of documentation . We as owner had to constantly follow up with almost no communication from pool company during this time .
After the permit it's been 6 months with phases and we keep getting moving targets .. all we get to know in the recent communications is " pool company facing unforseen

We recently had a pool put in and used Royal Pools. We had a great experience! We worked with Mitch, Brian, and Roberto. All of them did a great job of communicating and Roberto was a great project manager. Even after our project was delayed due to the Covid-19 shelter in place, Royal Pools did a great job of communicating and getting our project back on track. We didn't have a single issue with our project. Everything was clearly communicated to us and we were very pleased with how the pool turned out. I highly recommend Royal Pools.

Royal Pools was the best choice we made when we recently built our backyard pool and spa. They were extremely professional and a pleasure to do business with. You start with speaking to a sales representative, ours was Mike. Mike was very knowledgeable and helped us make decisions and answered all our questions. Tami was the person we worked out all the pool details with... she was also very customer service oriented and helped me decide on the finishes. She too was a pleasure to work with. When we decided to install a swimming pool last year as it was suggested that water therapy would be highly beneficial for our son who has autism I contacted Royal Pools. Don came to our home last June to take measurements and he came up with a beautiful design for our backyard. There was no pressure and Don checked in with me from time to time to see if he could answer any questions. When we were ready we signed the contract in August.

We had a great experience with Royal Pool! We contacted 4 business to get quotes, Royal Pool was the most professional and reliable. They were the ones that sent us the quote on time (some of them didn't even send the quote). They were clear with the quote and worked with our budget. There were a few tiny "hiccups" in the beginning with the sales person but nothing major, it was so small that we know it happens in any business. Be aware of this company! They are horrible! Their quality of work is horrible. They installed spa for us, they could not get heater working. They realized that there was gas leak underground. Then they have to dig up all the dirt and realized the pipes underneath the ground was broken. They have to replace them. They also installed pipes underneath the ground with a lot debris causing the pipes not working and stuck. DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE HORRIBLE!

Be aware. This company is practicing discrimination, tons of hidden fees, and sketchy sales technics. I was trying to resolve multiple issues with the owner/manager Adam. During multiple calls, he was trying to reassure me that person of my age (somehow he knew that I am younger) is unable to state that Royal Pools is capable of making a mistake. They sold me the pool coping, delivered it, cut it to fit my pool cover, and refused to install saying that it was not included in our agreement (over $90k project, over $10k paid for pool cover and installation). He came out to our home a week later to take photos and measurements to create an estimate and renderings of the proposed pool. We met another week later and were simply blown away. Below is a rendering and the final pool. WOW! Plus he created a video of the whole yard! Royal came in right where we were comfortable with and we signed that night.

I have not really worked with the company directly, but I contacted Adam's pool in Pleasanton and they sent me a sales rep to give me an estimate where on his email domain was Royal Pool, so I take it that is sort of DBA in the sough bay.
I know Adam's are reputable here in the bay area and has been around for so long, but if they continue to work with such reps as John Rafalsk he sure can drive them out of business.
We were literary chasing him to get an estimate and when he finally did, it was way overpriced. when we told him that we got a better offer from another reputable company

Expensive but MY GOODNESS does Royal build beautiful pools! So let's talk about service. We met Rick Swan 2 years ago when we got the "pool fever" after seeing our neighbors gorgeous pool (also built by Royal). Rick came to our home and took measurements and gave us a 3D rendering of our pool. We were reluctant to pull the trigger in 2017 and Rick did not pressure us - he just said "call me when and if you are ready". So sure enough a year passed and in July 2018 we called Rick again. He had saved everything and came right over and spray painted our grass where the

Building a pool, at least for us, can seem complicated, overwhelming, & messy, but you have to make a mess to make something beautiful. There can be many setbacks which take time to resolve, & you need to be very patient. You will see a lot of activity for a few days, & then it may be weeks before the next phase starts.
