Since the initial call just to inquire about their services made me feel comfortable leaving and letting them service my 84 Monte Carlo super sport. They gave me a hourly rate and said if it was going to be more than one hour they would let me know. Needless to say they tackled a big job within the first hour! I was satisfied with how they left my car, including the detailed invoice of everything they did. 10/10 would recommend this shop,

I took my car in for a check engine light and they charged me $250 approx for an oil change and for correcting the "evap lock" error code that my car was sending. I picked up my car and on the way home the check engine light came back on. Called back and took it back in the next business day. Only to have them tell me it will be another $800 to fix this new error code.
I feel like they should have refunded me the $250 for the other fix that didn't fix the check engine light.
They didn't fix my car for the money I spent therefore I would not recommend this place for

Always on time, keeps you informed of what is going to be done to your vehicle, in the do not force extra Services on you. Overall if you are looking for a reliable trustworthy family owned business that does the job right the 1st time, this is the place to go. I have referred several people there and they are always talked about how happy they are with the service.

Austin is a great mechanic and really has a passion for it. I had some work done on my car back when Ray was the owner and the customer service and quality of work has not changed one bit. You bet I will be bringing my car back for all of my future repairs!

I have been going here for a little over a year now. They are very honest mechanics with reasonable pricing. This is the only place that I take my truck. Bonus with these guys is they don't try to upsell you on stuff unlike other places. Brenda and Austin are awesome!

Brenda and Austin (the owners) struck me as very personable and honest people. They did quality work that was efficient and what I could afford. They also provided me with rating scales for the various recommendations or prospective problems they have regarding the maintenance of my vehicle which I appreciated in order to triage which problems are most concerning. Will definitely return to give Ray's corner garage my business in the future. Thank you very much!

Took my Jeep to Ray's garage they told me I need a $1,325 to replace a radiator and a heating core paid a 50 some dollars for a diagnostic fee didn't quite believe them took it to Firestone and ended up paying $468 for a new radiator it did not need the heating core I'm a 61 year old woman disabled retired and they tried to take advantage of me when I contacted them they were just respectful rude and condescending certainly not my neighborhood garage watch your pocketbook don't go there

When my car refused to start one day, I went to the internet to find somewhere I could get it looked at, and, seeing the good reviews for this place, I added it to my list. Despite the unfortunate outcome for my car, I have to say they did an exceptional job with what they were given, and the decision to scrap the car wasn't a result of anything they did wrong.
Because I decided not to get any work done, I can only really speak to the customer service part of their business rather than the quality of any repairs they do, but in this area they absolutely excel. They have a dedicated receptionist

Thanks to my fellow Yelpers for alerting me to this awesome garage! After taking my car to the dealership and being told I needed nearly $3,000 in repairs I did some research on Yelp and took my car to Ray's. At the time they were off of 72nd Street but recently moved to 52nd & Q. Ray's informed me that NONE of the repairs were immediately necessary, and others could wait until they became a problem...if they do become a problem. I have been coming to Ray's for well over 10 years. Over this time they have taken care of not only my car, but many of my family and friends vehicles. They have always been fast, friendly, upfront, and honest. What more could you ask for in a car mechanic?! On my most recent visit, I needed to have my right wheel bearing replaced and my oil changed. I dropped my car off at 9, they diagnosed the problem, and fixed it, and I picked it up by 2:30. They also saved me by getting the best prices available for parts. Call them for an estimate, they deal with all makes and models and can handle anything

These guys saved the day. My fiancé and I were driving cross-country from Rhode Island to California when out battery light came on. We realized we needed to have it looked at ASAP and decided on Ray's. They discovered the alternator was busted and needed a new one. Rather than charging us for something we didn't need, they have us all the options and even charged us less on labor than the original quoted price.
Had we not stopped at Ray's we could have been stranded on the side of the road and paying a lot more than necessary. Thank you Ray's!!!

I had to get my muffler replaced and the dealership wanted to charge me over $1,000. I knew that was totally out of line and heard about Ray's. Not only did it cost me around $250, saving me oodles, but they actually took the time to show me the hole in my muffler. Chatted with the owner and several of the mechanics and they are all great. They also have free wi-fi while you wait for your car to be repaired. Great service! Great place! Especially with all the crooked mechanics in town, this place is a breath of fresh air.

I was refered to Rays by a friend and what a favor it was. Ray is honest and caring about your wallet and car. He will go the extra mile for you and your car. I bought A new car this past summer and that meant I was not going to be needing Ray service very much in the near future and It was rather sad. Since I started using Rays I send anyone I know there for whatever is ailing there car or truck.
