I don't write a ton of reviews, but DMV Chimney is really great, and I'm candidly pretty insecure about contractors from past experiences. My experience with DMV was great. Their strength is in their team who does the work. Gary is one of the kindest, knowledgeable, and most thorough I've met. I had bought a stove insert myself that was a little too big and didn't leave enough space to install to code. Anticipating this, Gary called me a few weeks earlier and we came up with a backup plan. They brought a comparable stove they knew would fit just in case. We ended up needing to go with the back

There are no words to describe how incredibly efficient and nice this company is to work with. They installed my pellet stove on the day before Christmas Eve! They were polite, clean, and speedy. Gary took the time to call around for the best pellets and then trained me on the operation of the stove. I was a bit nervous since this is my first stove and he stayed with me a bit longer to make sure I was comfortable with the operation.
Kelly was efficient in telling me the times for delivery!
There are still companies out there that care about their customers!!

We had a chimney fire. Our fireplace has a heat a lator in it . We live in WV. We called several nearby places asking for quotes to repair. Because of the complexity of tying in the new required flue liner to the heat a lator, everyone we called was afraid to help us. DMV was very familiar with our problem and came up with a GREAT solution. Their quote was reasonable, our insurance company approved immediately, they were on time and did a GREAT job. Thank you DMV, looking forward to many years using you as our Chimney cleaner.

Had them clean and inspect our 3 chimneys in our new house, which was a very reasonable price quote (I got several quotes because I have never used a chimney sweep before). After they cleaned and inspected everything I got an estimate for a crown rebuild and inserting a new steel liner into chimney, which they took before and after pictures of their cleaning and inspection so you actually see what they are recommending. The quote was again reasonable and we had them install the liner and fix the crown before winter. Now
