Spravato, like other ketamine treatments, can cause a temporary increase in your blood pressure. We will check your blood pressure before administering any ketamine, and for at least two hours after you take it. We recommend that you bring headphones and your favorite music, a book, or some other diversion to enjoy during this time.

Place is unprofessional! motivated by money and will lie to you! They push medicine and they don’t listen to what’s important, or even helping, AT ALL! They will drop you and give you the run around… EXAMPLE…. My insurance switched, told they would work with me and I was making payments. “Office manager” would call have to call me back whenever I would ask why they were billing me for something my insurance was suppose to cover. I called my insurance and they me they covered it and sent me documentation!! Then when I reached out to them, also sent information per email…. They will

I loved my therapist and the PA I was seeing here. They were very helpful and were able to get me stable with meds and a treatment plan that worked for me, something I’ve been looking for and have needed for a few years. That being said, I was dropped as a patient with the letter stating that I wasn’t making it to appointments on time, which was not true. When I called they said I was a no show for too many appointments but I called and rescheduled for the 2 appointments I had to miss due to work. Its my assumption that the appointments weren’t taken off the schedule which is why it may have

Honestly I had a great experience with this practice until the staff kept getting confused and we had miscommunications about a medication I was prescribed and waiting for at the pharmacy. Still...no worries and everything worked out. They even gave me samples to cover. The staff was just very confused...(but I didn't think it was a big deal) Then I randomly received a letter in the mail stating that I was being dropped as a patient for routinely being late to appointments, WHICH WAS A LIE. I asked for the dates of the appointments I supposedly was late to- and they did not give them to me BECAUSE

If I could give this practice less than one star I would. My husband has been dealing with Bipolar and depressive disorder for most of his life. Unfortunately his long time psychiatrist retired and he had to find a new one. I would give anything to take back ever going here. There were red flags from the start. The first PA we were put with was extremely irritable and argumentative. We debated going back, but got a call from the office that she left without notice so we went ahead and scheduled with another PA, Jessica Swarr. On our first visit she suggested switching him to a fast acting drug

I asked for a referral to Dr. Gale's practice as I was moody. The part of the office that handles prescriptions was fine. The therapist assigned was a Master's degree social worker. From the moment I stepped in his office he was not welcoming to me whatsoever. I felt like I was sitting at his desk applying for food stamps. I have a Master's degree as well. We sat at his desk as he interrogated me. He never said, "Let's sit over here so we can be more comfortable" or tried to get to know me at all. I thought a professional attitude is considering the patients needs

This is the most responsive and professional practice I have found in Cincinnati this far. They have a multitude of providers, and are willing to accommodate your needs if you feel that your assigned provider does not work for you. My therapist is very good and so is my psychiatric provider. They even call in to check on me! With them I never have issues with the pharmacy or running out of my medications. I’ve recommended them to a lot of people :).

I've been a patient of Dr. Gale's for several years, after a referral from my primary care physician. I was not getting better despite my doctor's best efforts. Dr. Gale worked with me and monitored me closely for the first few weeks until I was starting to feel like a real person again. Another thing too, he didn't make me feel like it was my fault I was sick! I had been to a couple of doctors who acted like I was making it all up. Dr. Gale took a thorough family history, did you know depression and some other mental illnesses can be genetic? He said I didn't pick my genes

I called to try and make an appointment and I was told they would have to call me back the next day. So I get a call back the next day and they said everyone is booked up and if something opens up, I should call back to find out! So I asked, is everyone booked for the rest of the year? I was then told they have nothing open. But if they hire more associates then maybe they will have openings. Sounds to me like they just don't want to see me. If everyone there is a 100% booked for the year, then kudos, but that's highly unlikely

As an internist and primary care physician I have had many occasions to refer to psychiatrists. I have chosen Dr. Gale because of his excellent diagnostic acumen, pharmacotherapeutic expertise, wide breadth of experience, willingness to keep up to date, and his willingness to report back to me. He is the only psychiatrist to send me progress notes. I have sent colleagues and family members of colleagues to him. All have been impressed and happy with him. He has been head of the department of psychiatry at one hospital in Cincinnati and chief of geriatric psychiatry at another. I would not hesitate
