Services
I founded Luminance Skincare a little more than 11 years ago in a very small garage that was barely large enough to fit a Mini Cooper. My time during the first few years was divided between my work as an electrical engineer, the research stacks at Stanford University learning about skin and skincare, local farmers markets doing ground level market research on the weekends, and late nights in my garage lab developing new products.

I love this company and their products. From the delicate face cleanser to the nourishing serum, acne serum to their amazing soap(try Marzipan). My skin loves it. I highly recommend ordering the sample kit for less than $10 you can try them for yourself. I'm very happy I found luminance and love that they are a local business as well.

After just a couple weeks of using some of their products I have already notices such a difference in the skin. It feels and looks more soft, smooth and even. Luminance products changed my life. I love the Acne Serum so much, I want to take a bath in it! Some other favorites are: Rosewater Toner, Hair Serum, Nite Skin Butter, Holy Cacao!, and Exfoliating Mask. Now they make hand sanitizer! I've tried just about every product they offer and am never disappointed. If you want your skin to glow, give them a try!

Im so happy I found Luminance. I've been able to replace almost all of my beauty products with their line. No only are they natural and cost effective the products work better than most of my expensive products. My skin went from dry and red to calm and smooth.
I've recently added their sunscreen and deodorant to my collection and was pleasantly surprised how well they worked. Their staff is always very helpful to answer all my questions. My only wish is they come out with a makeup line *hint *hint ;)

This is the only brand I trust to use on my face! I have been using their delicate cleanser, toner, hydration moisturizer, and antioxidant spray for a few years now and I am always super happy with the results. My skin is super sensitive and I have to be careful with what I put on it. I love that these products are natural, vegan, and cruelty free. Also their customer service is excellent!! I have very sensitive skin, and recently entered the age where I am in battle with both acne and wrinkles simultaneously (at 32 - this is a cruel joke, right?). I have a friend at work who sells Rodan + Fields products and I somehow ended up with a "Soothe" regimen. After giving it a good go for a month, I ended up returning it frustrated, with the added bonus of now rashy skin!

Just tried Kim's new Antioxidant - UNBELIEVABLE! Washed my face with the orange foaming "soap," used one of the old mint masks, and then sprayed the Antioxidant on my face expecting that it would feel nice ... but never expecting the level of moisturizing effect that it would give me. And that's pretty dumb of me as I've been using Kim's products since he 1st began a journey that started as Bastango and evolved into Luminance. And his products just better and better.

They were very helpful and kind. I really love their products so far it works really well. Their prices are fair for how good the product is and for how long it lasts. I've had problems with acne and used their natural soap and antioxidants spray which helped clear it up very well! Be prepared that their shop isn't set up like an actual store because they have their lab in there where they make the products. Therefore don't be shy to go in and ask for help during their open hours.

My first visit at Luminance and what a joy. I am impressed with the products and the love and care that goes into each. I purchased the Acne Set for my granddaughter. Will let you know how it works after she tries it for a while. I also got sunscreen, moisturizer and other products for myself. Love, love the fresh clean scent and how my skin felt after washing my face with their gentle cleanser, followed with the blissful scent of their Rosewater Tonic... wow! I visited this place with the wife, who had heard about the soap they make here. The place isn't so much a shop as a laboratory. When we walked in we were greeted and then started talking and got to see how they make everything right there. Very impressive. Also the soap we got is pretty amazing, I got a lemon scented one that feels better than any other soap I have ever used.

This company is an excellent company. I have ordered from them for nearly a year and I know for a fact that they don't charge me without authorization like the other reviewer has mentioned. As a matter of fact, I ordered an item one time, contacted the company that I made a mistake on my part and they sent me the correct one at no charge. Plus, I was still able to keep the wrong item. Not only that, anyone who has truly ordered from them knows that they include a free full size sample with every order. They're super generous and customer-centric. I found out about Luminance Skin Care from the blog So...Let's Hang Out. I'd been keeping my eyes open to more natural skincare products with no harsh chemicals. It's not an easy task! Where do I start???? In a word, this product is AMAZING!! I have had some serious ups and downs with my skin as I am in that "time of life" when changes start to take over the skin!!
