I was filing for divorce and I didn’t know where to begin until I was referred to Hightower Reff Law to help navigate through it all. If you are looking to spend $200 on information you can find better on google, just go to your local library. Barely any advice, no real plan of action to assist, they will not evaluate your case and give you real life advice on the situation. I had an appointment with Joy in which I felt like I was getting answers from someone fresh out of school on speakerphone. Full custody mom who’s ex spouse was filing for modification, not difficult. This had to go through a council to see if they can “take your case”. If you don’t have the case load stop taking consultations, this is poor practice

I recently hired an attorney from Hightower/Reff Law to attempt to establish paternity and custody of my two year old son. I did my initial consultation with a very young attorney that was assigned to my case and I spoke with her for an hour about my goals/intentions. She assured me that I had everything to gain and that she would get to work on my case immediately. A entire month passed by and I heard nothing from my attorney from Hightower/Reff. Hightower/Reff reached out to me after my one-star review about the error that cost us an extra $500.00, plus issues we had getting our attorney to contact us about our case. We now know there were extenuating circumstances that prevented her from doing so. But time was of the essence in a very sensitive matter and we needed to move on for the sake of my daughter’s case. My lawyer did actually what she said she was gonna go. Did everything I ask for and did it in a timely matter. Very responsive through emails and kept me up to date on everything. I do not leave poor reviews as a rule, but in the case of legal representation that you are spending a boatload of money for, this is important. When we first went with Hightower Reff, they assured us if we went with them we'd not only have our attorney, but the entire firm at our disposal. Ha! Our attorney was rarely available, and she missed details in the final divorce decree such as reverting back to maiden name, which was supposed to be part of the decree. It was left out and cost us an additional $500 to take care of something that should have been caught and included in the cost of

Did not pay attention. Did not keep notes. Kept asking for the same information over and over because she could not find in her files.

Tracy and Susan are amazing Lawyers!! they helped us with the adoption of my Step daughter and now she is officially mine and was able to take my last name which is what my daughter wanted the most.
