Asit P. Patel, MD graduated from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his residency in Anesthesia at Yale University School of Medicine, Yale-New Haven Hospital, Connecticut. Dr. Patel is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management. He has been practicing pain management since 1992, and founded Comprehensive Spine and Pain Management, LLC in 2013.

I was going to Dr. Patel he was really good when I 1st started going to him. He then couldn’t remember why I was seeing him an at one point he argued with me who I was an why I was seeing him. He then realized he had wrong file pulled. Then he made sudden changes to my medication took me completely off my one med an cut the other one in half. Because all the tests he had ran can back normal so he didn’t believe I was having pain. The next apt he informed me there was no narcotics in my system so he then removed me from all my pain meds. When I found this practice because the place I was at basically ran its course on treating my back and I knew there was more we could do to manage the pain without just handing out medication! As soon as I walked in the staff was very friendly and did not rush me. The wait time was short and when I went to the examine room the wait time to see Dr. Patel was even shorter! He went through all my paperwork and images and we talked about a plan moving forward. I was not rushed or felt it was like a cattle call. I’ve been a patient of Dr Patel for over 3 years. He is professional, understanding and listens to any concerns I have. He's always on time and never rushes the visit which is not typical of most doctors. He found a treatment that relieves my pain and allows me to do things I would otherwise not be able to do. I have been a patient of Dr Patel’s for many years now and he and his team has always treated me with the up most respect. The office and bathrooms are extremely clean and the bathroom is handicap accessible I no first hand cause I’m in a wheelchair it’s very big!! Another thing the team is good at is getting you your appointment when you want it they work with you well on that. Dr Patel always takes his time with his patients and if there’s something bothering you he addresses it that day. The other thing I like is you don’t have to wait long to see him cause they don’t triple book

I’ve been with Dr. Patel for about three years and only have had good to very good experiences with him and his staff. On one occasion, I was in excruciating pain. When I called, he and his staff fit me in immediately for treatment. That kind of service is typically unheard of! Their attention to details and in follow-up have been great.

Dr. Patel is very kind, compassionate, and understanding. He has been my doctor for over 3 years, since I moved to Delaware. He is thorough and attentive and always listens. I have been a patient of Dr. Patel’s for almost 2 years and I have no complaints. He is thoughtful, considerate, listens to ALL issues and answers questions. Since Covid, he and his staff have taken great care to ensure his patients are as protected as possible. Whenever I have needed injections, he is so gentle.
