I went to Dr. Trawick after trying 4 times to get the right prescription at another office in Lakeland. He took the time to listen and make sure he was getting it right. In today's hurried environment, it is nice to see a doctor that takes the time necessary to ensure an accurate measurement and the correct diagnosis. I highly recommend Dr. Trawick.

So my daughter had an eye screening done at school, next thing I know I'm getting a letter sent home asking me to have her see an Optometrist. We are fairly new to the area so I didn't know where I should take her. I googled and found Family Eye Center South Dr. Trawick with the highest rating near me. I called and made the appointment, and since of course with Covid running amock, everyone is booked. I understood and had no problem waiting a month out for a new patient appointment for her. Dr. Trawick and his staff are absolutely stellar. My eye insurance at work changed and he was not on the in-network list of providers. I was DEVASTATED. Fast forward about 7 years and he is on our list! I have VERY tricky eyes as my astigmatism likes to shift about every 6 months. I tried to tell other eye doctors this and they didn't believe me. My prescription has always been wrong - and I have tried to go back for rechecks but they wouldn't listen. Dr. Trawick is the ONLY eye doctor that has nailed my prescription every time. And he does a 6 month recheck to make sure I am still seeing

I visited this office, and had a wonderful experience. I have never had an eye exam before, so I was alittle nervous. The staff at this location, take their time to make you feel at ease. Caring and knowledgeable staff is what you need when you're having trouble with your eyes! I give this office a 10 star rating, they were kind and respectable to me and my son! I highly recommend going here.

Dr. Trawick is an amazing dr. He takes time with each of his patients insteading rushing you out and collecting your money like so many other drs do. I completely trust Dr. Trawick. He is thorough, personable, and explains everything well. Chris and Jo in the front office are always friendly, helpful, and efficient. Not to mention his office is so clean and organized. If you need an eye dr there is no one better than Dr. Trawick.

I haven't been to an eye doctor since I was a kid and from the moment I walked in the door I felt like family. The front desk staff not only greeted me but told me their names and said don't hesitate to ask if I had any questions. My wait was not even 5 minutes then I was taken back to do my dilation and she talked me through the whole experience no surprises. After that I waited about 5 minutes to see Dr. Trawick and he walked in the room very friendly, open, introduced himself and shook my hand. After doing the most thorough eye exam I can even remember he went over his findings with me and explained

Dr Trawick has been my Optometrist for more than twenty years. He and his staff have provided courteous and professional service each visit. He has also provided care for my entire family as well.
Appointments are easy to schedule, the office is neat and clean and staff ensure you are comfortable during your visit.

This was the second time I have visited Dr. Trawick as I have reached over the 60's age I want more experienced exams which are completed by an Opthalmalagist.. By seeing the same Dr. he can also se changes better when past exams are available to compare. I have things in the family that need close following as well, I recommend thayou at least get a clean bill of checking while your eyes are at their best because several probles have little or no warning sins until yoo late to keep your beautiful eyes that let you see this world there is to enjoy-take good care of them!

We have been going to Family Eye Center South for several years now, and they are wonderful. Dr. Trawick is very thorough, and always does what it takes to make sure my contact prescription is correct and comfortable. The office staff is very friendly and super helpful. They went above and beyond when my daughter got her first pair of glasses. She is very small and was having a reaction to the metal frames that were the only frames we could find to fit her.
