Founded in 1981, our Newport Beach dental practice has experienced revolutionary advancements in total care dentistry first-hand. Our dentists, John Chrispens, DDS and John Evans, DDS, are committed to providing our patients with the best, most up-to-date techniques and technology in modern dentistry.
My favorite part of my day is working with our patients, helping them understand what we do, how we do it, and why it's important, and then watching their faces as their mouth reaches its healthiest state. I enjoy interacting with people and have fun with everyone who walks through our door. I'm responsible for all aspects of running the front office, to ensure that our patients receive the ideal treatment for their individual needs.

Dr. Chrispens and his entire staff are truly amazing! His expertise and work are of the highest quality. I always enjoy talking to he and his staff when I visit his office. Dr. Chrispens always takes the time to explain things to me and is never pushy with any services. When he speaks I sense a great amount of respect from him. And he has definitely earned my respect not only as a doctor, but as a kind and genuine person. My first experience with Dr Chrispens office was when I called and spoke to Vicky. After speaking with her and how wonderful she was on phone I figured if she was any example of my Dental experience then I was going to be pleased.
When I arrived at my appointment this week and walked in I just knew this was 'my' dentist. The warm reception area had refreshments, awesome fish tanks, great artwork, a aromatic scent in the air, it felt happy and upbeat and it was super clean. Dr Evans has redone every tooth in my mouth! I have driven up from San Diego and spent hours with his incomparable care and brilliance. Can't imagine another dentist who would ever have taken the time he has. I wish I had listened to my brother years ago and flown from New York to receive his care. He is a genius! Everyone in the office is a… perfectionist and caring. Thank you Cheryl , Dr Evan's assistant, by my side for hours, seeing to my every need! Dr. Chrispens performed a dental implant and I must say I had absolutely NO PAIN. The tooth was removed, then a bone graph, and an implant with a sinus lift and no discomfort. The staff was friendly, and happy to answer questions. The extra bonus with Dr. Chrispens is - he has cookies and chocolate available!

I have been seeing Dr. Chrispens for about 10 years. My gums were in horrible shape when I first saw him. He did about 4 gum surgeries and now I still have my teeth.
The office runs like a swiss watch and I never wait more than a few minutes to see him. The staff is friendly and the office has all the newest technology and equipment. Dr. Chrispens is a great guy and loves what he does. I'm really glad I was referred to him or I would be wearing dentures now.
