Awesome!!! My car problem is solved immediately by just 1 visit at Akin's Auto Repair. Have already driven over 150 miles, and nothing is going wrong.
My car issue is exactly fixed for just a few hundreds compared to $4000 said by another place.

Akin's Auto is simply amazing! There is a reason they have over 1,000 5 star reviews. I have a 2017 BMW X3. Initially, I took the car to the dealer to have it serviced. Although the car had few miles, they still managed to charge $$$. Then, I found Akin's. They have been nothing but wonderful! They charge a fair price for great service. When my coolant was low, the refilled it free. There definitely is something behind all those 1,000 - 5 star reviews - happy customers with cars that are running great thanks to Akins.

I would not hesitate to send my mother to this repair shop. She did go to get her AC compressor replaced on an older car. The cost was about 60% of the mechanic she normally would see. They explained the cost of the various parts to her over the phone. I was able to see how her go to repair shop may have been trying to take advantage of her. The car was done in one day and the AC worked great. Fast forward a few months and a minor issue came up. This is the ONLY place I truly trust with my car. Since the very first car I've owned, they've been nothing but helpful. I know a lot of shops get a bad rep because they overcharge and/or lie to you especially if they think you know nothing about cars. Rest assured these guys won't. The reviews speak for itself. Thank you Yelpers for referring me to this business. Akin and his mechanic were awesome. I had an emergency breakdown and had to get the battery changed. Akin took care of that on a last minute notice. He also took care of the oil change for me.
Everything was beautifully done and reasonably priced. I will definitely return.

I haven't been here in a couple years but I recently called them and Akin is responsive although he admitted he doesn't work on electric cars. I still have a couple gas guzzlers where I would come back for repairs. I trust Akin's work as he doesn't cross sell additional work. He just fixes what you ask. A couple years ago I brought my Q7 there to repair the entire rear light housing. I also had my oxygen sensors replaced on my TT, along with timing and serpentine belt done. All prices were fair.

I am new in the area and was recommended by a friend to come here after some panic over car troubles. I am not really knowledgeable about cars so I wanted to find a place where I won't feel like my ignorance will be taken advantage of. After reading the yelp reviews as well, I decided to give this place a shot. All the five star reviews are spot on! Took my Lexus RX 350 here for a service. They were quick, friendly, honest, and fair. As a woman who doesn't know much about cars, dealing with them and auto shops can be intimidating and overwhelming. So glad I found Akine's because the experience was far from these things. Great local auto repair shop at a fraction of the price of the dealerships try to rip you off for. They did my daughter's brakes on her Mazda CX-5 quickly and at about $200 less than the dealer, and I had more confidence in their work than the dealers.
I plan on using them for other work as it comes up, but love supporting a local business and an honest mechanic.

Most reasonably priced service my 2015 BMW had been through. Good communication and honest inputs. They replace with original parts and use BMW recommended oil n stuff. I have taken my car to two other service centers in the past, they charge a bomb for the same work. I was pleasantly surprised to hear my regular service got done for $100.

I took my 2002 Mercedes SL500 in April 2020 for an alternator replacement. The Akin brothers were so nice and knowledgeable and just chatting with them I felt confident they knew what they were doing. They are a small family owned business and their shop is impeccably clean! The parts and labor charges were very reasonable and they repaired my alternator and oil change the same day! Super impressed! I highly recommend them.

Went there for the AC coolant recharge. It is well advertised as $70 which is the cheapest that I found. Granted it comes with a disclaimer that it may not solve the AC not working. And no fixes of leaks.
Even with the further diagnosis of $70 more they are still the cheapest in town.
Fortunately for my car where the AC air was not cold, just the recharge at $70 was sufficient to fix the issue.
I went there without an appointment and was asked to come first thing in the morning. And the recharge would be done in an hour I was told. And it took that time. The waiting room was comfortable.

I'd like to thank Akin & his crew for always providing excellent & outstanding service! I recently ran over a curb which resulted in both tire & check engine lights turning on and replacing a damaged tire & battery soon after the unfortunate incident.
I called Akin the next day to schedule a vehicle inspection to make sure there are no other major issues/damages that I may be unaware of since being a female customer for many years, I completely trust his input when it comes to my car's needs. Fortunately, there were no further damages.

Akin is my go-to for anything regarding my car. Oil change, brakes, suspension, oil leaks, cart belt rotation, etc. I have been a customer for over 5 years. When I first found Akin on yelp, I was surprised a mechanic in the bay area had 5 stars. BEYOND RARE! Akin is down to earth, and he speaks his mind. At times, he can be brutally honest. There has been plenty of times, I would call in to make an appointment, and I always get scheduled within 2-3 days. If it is urgent, he will tell you to get to the shop EARLY to be the first one before the rush comes in.
