When you're going through a divorce, you have a number of important goals: protecting your children while avoiding a bitter custody battle, setting a fair child support arrangement so that your children are properly cared for, ensuring that you receive a fair share of marital property, and coming to a fair alimony arrangement.

Having an experienced family law attorney can greatly help in this process. While it is possible to represent yourself in a divorce, do you fully understand the laws about all of these issues? Would you be able to say with certainty that you aren't giving up important legal rights? Would you be able to keep a clear head emotionally to make the right decisions and stay focused on what's important when you go to court?

When you do not have children, you have the freedom to relocate anywhere in the world at any time. While a divorce may restore much of the independence you had when you were single, you cannot freely move if you had a child with your former spouse. In Florida, any move greater than 50 miles that is either permanent or lasting longer than 60 days requires either the consent of the non- custodial parent or a court order.

I blame my self for continuing to trust her after we lost a case the another attorney was much much better but she assured me the next step should be easy and that it would cost $ 5000 but days before the court day she say it would be additional $7500 and I had to pay in full $7900 before We went into court, I had already given her $4600. Got another attorney and had a much better result.

Michelle and her paralegal Jeremie are amazing. Not only are they competent and compassionate but they are detail oriented and very thorough. Even going through a difficult situation, they sit down with you and go over the game plan. Regarding past representations, I was in a highly stressful situation and had no idea what the plan was before going into a situation. Highly recommend!
