Hello, my name is Paul Sousa, owner of The Cake Gallery in picturesque Bristol, Rhode Island. I would like to take this time to introduce myself. I am a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design where I have received my degree in baking and culinary arts in 1988.

What an amazing job Paul and staff did on my son's Birthday cake. I wanted a pretty particular design and they nailed it. Very accommodating, very friendly, and the cake was delicious! So many compliments on this cake and best of all, my son loved it so much. Thanks for a Birthday we will never forget!

Oh my gosh, we had the most delightful chocolate/raspberry buttercream cake yesterday for a birthday party and even though we all had a slice for desert, everyone took home a huge piece and found out through texting back and forth that everyone had it for breakfast this morning….. and that is how scrumptious that cake tasted. Beyond description!

My son is going to school at RWU and this being his first birthday away from family, I didn't want him to go without a birthday cake. I ordered 6 custom cupcakes, in 2 flavors and had them delivered. They did a great job, delivered the cupcakes as planned. My son was so surprised and said both flavors were delicious! I truly appreciated the personal attention I was given and for their effort towards making my son's birthday a good one.

In a notice of a few days, they were able to make this beautiful and delicious cake for me for my husband’s bday. The cake, which was half vanilla, half chocolate, with a cream inside , was delicious, the design looked great, and the price is very reasonable!

My family and I used the Cake Gallery for my brother and cousin's graduation party cakes. We specifically typed the text we wanted on each cake, so not understanding someone's handwriting, and an error on the cake would be avoided. To our surprise, it was not avoided. The baker spelled "Jenna" incorrectly. As you can see in the attached photo, it just says "Jenn". I would like to add that the MA was supposed to be there since it was her masters degree from La Salle University. When checking the cake at our pick up time, we noticed the error. Unfortunately, there was no baker there to fix it, only

The Cake Gallery is the only place you want to go to get any cake!!! I have gotten birthday, baby shower, bridal shower, wedding cakes and cupcakes and Paul never disappoints. Each time I look in the box its magical then when I taste it its even more magical. He is so talented and his work shows it. I would never get a cake from any where else. Great work and delicious cakes!!!!
