The family owned and operated business first opened its doors in the summer of 1981 when owners Dorothy Lavoie and Elaine Cordeiro decided to combine their skills and interests to give the people of New Bedford what they wanted; all things to make and decorate cakes and chocolate.

This company cares nothing for its customers and the owner is down right nasty. The products we received were bad and we spent a lot of money on them and this guy just brushes me off like I was lying and not only that told me to lose his number. I will be calling the BBB on this company and I'll bring my customer complaints with me.

I received a small birthday fruit basket 30 minutes ago, which seemed pretty until I unwrapped it. This must have been in a refrigerator for a minute, because the orange slices were dry, the rind LOOKED dry, and they didn't taste good at all. They were not quality oranges. The green melon was unripe and hard. The cantaloupe slices should have been sliced MINUS the green rind parts. The chocolate was cheap and sweet, and did not work. The strawberries were decent. Because it was a delivered gift I didn't tell the giver so they wouldn't feel bad. If Flowers.Com has to outsource to different vendors

WORST "CHOCOLATE" I've ever had!
Let me preface this by saying I'm a former pastry chef, and know quite a bit about chocolate.
I ordered 1 box each of their white, milk, and dark chocolate 5-piece slider boxes. I ALMOST ordered larger boxes, and I'm glad I didn't. I ordered them on April 7th with the intention of having them here for Easter. They arrived on April 15th!
Not only did the package take FOREVER to get to me (label was created on the 8th, and the first UPS scan was on the 10th), but the order arrived with HUGE problems.
First, the order was wrong. I received the white, milk, and

My husband had ordered me a fruit bouquet through 1-800 Flowers for our wedding anniversary in April. They used Chocolate Works as the local vendor to make and deliver the order. The fruit bouquet was supposed to look like an Edible Arrangements item, with fruit on a stick and some of it coated in chocolate. This was also supposed to come with an “I love you” balloon.
First, the delivery person put the basket directly in front of the door, which makes it hard to get outside my door to pick it up. Other vendors have done that too, I guess they don’t think. The real problem that was noticed
