A group of about 15 RV's are working at Wild Heart's Equine Therapy Center doing volunteer work.We are building fences, painting, renovating, building trails and much more. The center is a non-profit and work with Autism kids, kids with tramatic experiences, and PST Veterans. Lake Hartwell RV Park allowed us to dump our RV's for free. A shout out to the owner's of RV Hartwell RV Park.

Our second summer here, with more to come. Love this is an adult, secure and no bs campground. Michael and Jeff are great, keeping an eye out for your rig and you, without interfering.
There are approx 23 sites, two of which are used for overnight or weekly stays. There is a gravel drive in,
through and out of the park. Grass between the mostly level sites, which are nicely spaced apart. Water, full hook ups, and internet are included. Long term stays pay for their own electric. Laundry, outdoor shower, covered picnic area, and nice residents.
Why we keep coming back, we love the managers, feeling

Wonderful place to stay! Jeff & Michael were extremely helpful if you needed anything. It was quite, clean, & places to eat & shop were not too far away. Loved the fact it is an adults only campground, but your furbabies are welcomed there! Highly recommend!

Owner is very accommodating - noticed a flat on our tow vehicle and plugged it himself. Location is great - center to a lot of the natural attractions. Level sites, fair prices.

The campground is quaint and cozy. It is an adults only park and is pet friendly.
The campground hosts/owners, Jeff and Michael are super nice and will go out of their way to make sure your stay awesome.
The large pull-thru sites have wi-fi, electric, water and sewer. The park has plenty of space to walk your dogs as well as a nice picnic area that has both charcoal and gas BBQs. There is an air conditioned TV viewing room and a laundry with 2 washers and dryers. The laundry costs $2 each for wash and dry which is what I have found to be the norm in all the parks we have visited across the Southern

My husband, I and our pup stayed at Lake Hartwell RV Park August 2017, mainly for the eclipse. It's just a few miles off 85 and plunked down in a very pretty, bucolic setting. When we took the dog for a stroll, the horses in the back pasture would often come up to the fence to check us out. The grounds are very well kept--so much so it's obvious the owners take pride in how their place looks. The campsite was not the biggest we'd ever had but their sites are bigger than many we've noted and they are set among trees with open fields all around the park. It looks like it was once a farm.

For a small RV park (there's no pool or clubhouse) this one is very clean, quite and close to various things to do. Jeff the Owner/Manager is always around if you need anything. The laundry price is a bit on the high side (5.00 per load to wash and dry). However it is convenient so it evens out. My husband is from this area; we were there for approximately three months and really enjoyed our stay....as a seasoned camper and traveler I highly recommend this place.

We have been here for over 6 months and Have enjoyed our stay very much! There is no drama and has been secure. With No children under age 18 allowed, there is no running and screaming kids running around the campsites. Campers are encouraged to light a fire in the provided fire rings and enjoy the evenings in a adult fashion.
