I stayed on this lake with my grandparents when I was around 8 or 9 (1991 or 1992), at a different and now closed resort. For years I had wanted to go back, but I couldn't remember the name of that resort. While looking for it, I discovered Tuck A Way. We made reservations and I finally got to come back to this beautiful slice of Heaven in 2019, and I was not disappointed. Cabin 7 was very well kept, clean and we had no issues on our trip. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to come back in 2020, but we made it back just last week (8/21 - 8/29). We stayed in cabin 6 and I had family in cabin

This family owned resort and campground overlooks Lake Hattie. Mike, Karen and their son Todd and granddaughter, have worked hard to make this resort a destination for families to enjoy the outdoor life of MN. Great place for kids to explore. They have cabins and campground sites along with poontoon and fishing boats to rent.
Their gift shop carries quality gift items and apparel, not only with the the Tuck-A-Way logo, but, also, Lake Hattie.
The day I was their Tuck-A-Way was hosting the The Wounded Vetrans of St Cloud, Fishing Tournament. This was there 5th or 6th year. Their neighbors around

Nice family run resort. We stayed in family camp which was clean and shady.... Docks for boats, safe sandy beach, swingset for the kids. Fishing was good. Loons sang every night!

Very, very dirty cabin. When we checked in Todd told us the toilet seat was broken and he didn't have any in inventory. I went into town the next day to buy a new one and I installed, Todd stopped by a couple hours later to tell use Godfrey's was sold out the same place we bought the toilet seat they had more seat just a couple of hours ago. When we went to check out they where suppose to reimburse me for the cost of the toilet seat but they ended up charged me twice for it. They said they would credit my account I still haven't seen it. I am not
going to hold me breathe.
DON'T stay there!! Very

Very generous with water toys. Although the swimming area is small, great for small kids. Our kids are teens and had fun with the water toys. We enjoyed the pontoon the most of all. By-the-way great fishing.

My family had been coming to this lake all the way from Illinois for decades. As an adult, I have since made Tuck-A-Way a regular place to stay multiple times a year. It is a family run resort with great amenities. The lake is excellent for fishing, swimming, kayaking or whatever you like. I love it there!

My family stays here twice a year for hunting trips. The owners are super friendly and easy going, it's close to local trails and there's a beautiful view of lake Hattie from our door step.

We were supposed to be staying in a new cabin. For some reason that cabin never got built. Nobody was notified that we would be in an older cabin. Not just old, but it's so run down they probably shouldn't even be allowed to rent it out. No sink in the bathroom, sliding door to the deck doesn't work, huge heave in the floor and cabinet space is non-existent. They did eventually let us switch cabins when one opened up. Another somewhat remodeled old cabin.
Had family staying in campers. One of them stayed in a nice secluded spot, one stayed right on the lake, but the other was essentially parked

Apart from the rain and the wet tents, it's a very enjoyable place. The cabins are very nice and spacious, but there are only two bathrooms that are not extremely clean. The lake, however, is beautiful and good for fishing.
