We are board certified physicians, medical assistants, physician assistants, and part of your community. Not an Urgent Care clinic- But a Primary Care Center with Urgent Care convenience and Open Access Scheduling!. With our extended evening and weekend hours, you no longer need to take time off from work for your routine visits, follow-ups or preventive care visits.
At Apex MD, we believe that comprehensive care is essential in maintaining good health. This law requires insurance companies to cover all applicants with new standards for Preventative Health Care including a limited wellness visit, but does not include comprehensive physical or evaluation of acute or chronic illnesses.
The annual wellness "FREE" visit provided by Medicare and private insurance companies is very limited. It does not include most diagnostic testing and does not include treatment of chronic conditions or treatment of any acute illnesses. Our providers follow evidence based medical guidelines from national medical organizations to individualize treatment plans and goals for you.
APEX MD offers extended office hours and WALK IN OPTIONS to continually provide high quality care at your convenience. We recommend to schedule an appointment though our secure patient portal for established patient chronic care follow up visits. We are a Family Practice Center and also provide ACUTE CARE for your immediate health care needs without the added costs of urgent care centers.

As a potential new patient, I have been in contact with this doctor's office for the last week in an attempt to find out a) if they take my specific insurance and b) what their new patient appointment availability is for the coming weeks. I have called them a total of 3 times and have submitted 2 new patient/appointment requests on their website and still have no answers. I spent the past 30 minutes of my time waiting on the phone for answers and when the patient coordinator, Amy, came back on the phone she forgot that she had me on hold for the past 17 minutes. I DO NOT I MEAN DO NOT RECOMMEND GOINF HERE! I made an appointment and was called 20 mins prior to my appointment to tell me they couldn't see me because my PCP on my insurance were not them which doesn't make since because I've never had to deal with that! The receptionist hung up in my face multiple times and they all at every unprofessional! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

For starters I'm a health care provider and therefore understand good clinical practice, and this is not it. My concerns are similiar to those expressed in other 1 star reviews and the fact that the practice replies only to complimentary posts, speaks volumes.

This review is long overdue. Dr. Banerjee has been a lifesaver for me over the last 4 years. She has always listened to my concerns and has an understanding of unusual illnesses that many doctors do not and does not make you feel crazy when explaining all of the odd symptoms you may have, even if they seem unrelated. She has always welcomed any information I have shared with her after researching my own symptoms. I am a Registered Nurse and will never recommend this practice to anyone. I have had numerous bad experiences recently. Dr. Banerjee has refused care, does not problem solve, rectify problematic situations, or have a professional practice. It seems to stem from the top. She is the only physician here at this practice so there is no higher chain of command. I am finding a new PCP today. I called for help and was told "use the portal". Then I received no response and walked in (they say they accept walk-ins, which is clearly not the case here). They said they couldn't find my insurance in the system

Note: I havent consulted the doc yet. I have scheduled for an appointment and have visited. They were not able to verify my eligibility information. I had to call insurance to show them. I have a copay. But they dont see that. They only see the deductable and asking to pay 140$ For a visit which is ridiculous. I have cancelled the appointment for time being and gave them all additional information and showed my plan has a copay and they have agreed for it. When I return for appointment again, they were asking for 140$. I wish they have some good people at front desk. If the patient is innocent

This practice deserves no stars. I had a friend who spoke highly of Dr. B so I was hoping to have a great experience. Sadly I was wrong. Save your time and energy don't go here. I am no longer a patient with this office. I switched doctors now I am getting the service, care, time and explanation needed when you see a doctor. Dr. B comes in the room and is gone within with 2-3 minutes. She asks questions then tells you which mediations you may need but no explanation or questions answered. My last visit I felt has I was holding her up on the room, it made me feel anxiety just about wanting

I had been with the same primary physician for over 20 years, from the moment I moved to Va from NY. I thought my Dr. was the best thing since fried catfish until my dear sister friend referred me to Dr. Banerjee for a medical concern I had. It was love from first appointment. I have only been visiting her office for under a year and so far she has diagnosed and corrected what everyone else either couldn't, or did incorrectly.
