From a very young age Tim always had an interest in engines and tinkering with anything and everything. Rob Fishel, Tim's Grandfather was the owner/operator of a well-known small engine repair shop in the small town of Advance, NC. Tim always looked up to his grandfather and was following in his footsteps from the time he was old enough to walk.
Tim worked with his grandpa every day, learning as much as possible about engines and the values of life. Rob always taught Tim to treat people fair and do the best in everything you do. The same values Tim carries with him today at TFM. Tim has been involved in kart racing for over 20 years as a competitive racer in the southeast and has worked in the karting industry for over 14 years.

At Tim Fishel Motorsports, we take no shortcuts on horsepower. We take pride in providing each and every customer with top of the line elite horsepower. Every engine that leaves our facility is dyno tuned and ready to take you to the front of the pack! We use only the best parts available on our national clone engines.
As recommended on all of our Elite engines, we suggest racing your Elite Flathead for 8-10 races before sending your engine in for service. Clone Changeovers- The cost to change over another builders clone to a TFM build can vary by a wide margin. Sometimes you can get out reasonable and sometimes it's nearly the same price as a new engine, this mainly depends on the quality/brands of parts used on your existing engine.
